Gapes when sitting
As with all of Lands' End skirts this year, this needs to be ordered one size down! While it looked nice on me when I was standing up, when I sat down, it gaped quite awkwardly! I don't know if it fits this way on everyone, but I am a very petite person, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Good, solid skirt but please stop the vanity sizing!
LE's skirt supplier is doing some serious vanity sizing this year. I normally wear LE size 4 (an 8 in Europe) but with all their skirts this year, that is still too big! I wish it was because I've lost weight, but I know I have not. At least with this skirt, I can re-sew the buttons to make it work, without having to return/exchange it.

Good skirt for work or play
I am tall and leggy and had been looking for a khaki skirt long enough to meet my professional dressing needs. The school uniform skirt fit the bill while still being stylish. As an added bonus, it wears well without wrinkling & is easy to care for as well. My only complaint is that the skirt could wrap further underneath. Perhaps I will get used to it, but I spent the day double checking and adjusting to be certain my legs were not showing and had to be careful it was properly positioned when seated so I was not flashing a great deal of thigh.
