The tiered silhouette definitely has a boho vibe to it. And yet, it managed not to fall over into hippie territory. The fabric’s a blend of linen and cotton — cool, but not as likely to rumple as either fiber would be alone. The smocking’s in the back, where it snugs the dress just a tad so it fits smoothly all around. Thoughtful touches include a full lining, so you won’t have to search for the right slip. 53% linen/47% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Perfect summer dress for BBQs and parties!
Absolutely love this dress. I have to admit I ordered it 3 sizes bigger since I'm pregnant and in my third trimester, but the elastic band in the back is great for the ever expanding rib cage. I'm tempted to order it in more sizes so I can keep wearing it after delivery in July- that's how beautiful and comfortable this dress makes me feel. I got over 5 compliments on the dress during it's first wear yesterday with a belt above the belly. Order it today!

Great dress!
I purchased this dress in blue and am considering going back for the white also. I love it! The fit is great and the fabric is so soft and comfortable, yet it holds it's shape and doesn't wrinkle. I received many compliments all day. I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice blue fabric but the bodice ís totally unflattering!
I was looking forward to a casual below-knee length dress to wear in hot weather. It arrived beautifully packaged like a gift and was a nice weight light blue chambray type fabric. Then I tried it on. The dress part is very full with side pockets adding more bulk, altho it is a nice idea to have pockets. The bodice is constructed very oddly for grown women. With or without a bra (it is lined and there are short darts and my bust is not large) it looked equally bad: flattening the front and gaping a little at the sides, with no help from the elastic gathers in the back. It looked like it should be for a pre-pubescent girl. I don't what size woman's figure would be flattered by this dress. It will be returned.

Nice casual summer dress
I got this in blue from the sale, and think it is moneys worth. I like to have a loose casual dress for the summer, just to wear at home and at the cabin. For this purpose the dress is ideal. It fits even looser than I expected, but for my purpose that isn't a problem.

smock dress
I really wanted to love this dress, but sadly, it will be returned. It fits like a tent, despite being my correct size. The upper part of the dress completely flattened out my chest leaving me looking like a boy. Too bunched up and hot.

I returned this white dress, size Medium.
I generally take a Medium without major alterations. I am 5'5", size 12, 34D. The dress was lovely to look at - lined and just what I had hoped for. When I put it on, the straps were too long and the bodice was way too roomy. This was not a simple fix. I couldn't just take in the sides because it would be too snug across my chest. What a disappointment. I returned what would have been the perfect swishy little summer sundress. I can't imagine what kind of body type this is made for or would flatter.

It's Nice!
I ordered this in a size 4 and a size 6 as I'm having issues. The size 4 fits well except for the shoulder straps which I have to shorten a little. I like the quality, but if you are anxious to look thin, this is not the dress for you. I'll wear it for informal occasions. I like that the skirt is lined, so don't have to wear a slip in hot weather. I will return the size 6

Way too big on top
Ordered the size 16 which is normally what size I would get and the top is ridiculously large. Judging by the room in the bottom, I probably could have fit in a 14 in the bottom, but the top is not going to shrink by enough to even be worth trying. I'll have to return this one. I know I am a bit smaller than average on top, but wow, I'm not sure who this dress would even fit. The color and material are nice, I wish it had fit as I think I would have like it. Going to have to return it!

Nice idea, but poor design
Thought that this would be a wonderful casual dress, but found it way oversized and tent like
design. Did not taper as it appears to do in photo. Very unflattering. Under skirt WAS nice however.
Was full and comfortable.

Poor fit
I wanted so badly to like this dress - on the model it is adorable and I've been on a long quest for a white dress. But when I got this dress in the mail and tried it on, it was awful. The only reason I give this 2 stars is because the quality is excellent and THANK YOU LandsEnd for lining the white version with a lightweight but solid fabric. Well done there. The problem however is in the poor design. This is a dress for short waisted people. The second panel down from the top is so unflattering. I didn't only appear to be with child but also have a spare 18-wheeler tire around my middle. Not a good look. the smocking in the back also gathered in a strange way - making it bumpy which lead to the dress just fitting (or misfitting) in a very odd way. Sadly this is going back and I"m still on the quest for a casual white sundress.
