Not Secure
I would not recommend this bag as it had no zipper on the top and therefore no security. It was too small for phone/purse/makeup purse etc. to be out of reach of pick pockets. Perhaps the larger one would be better but have returned this one.

Red is a bit garish for my taste and the handles are a bit wierd..
The cutest of bags, but with a few carveats...
The red is a brighter pink than the photos, and where the handles meet the bag doesn't look right (and probably will not last the distance if you loaded the bag with "stuff" as all of us do).
If you are after a bag that isn't a carry all, for occasional use this bag would be fine.

Perfect for my needs
While the top of this bag doesn't close, it has so many pouches and zippered pockets inside that you don't need more. This is the perfect size and a very classy look.

Nice Bag, BUT . . .
Overall this is a very nice bag. It is made with good materials and very nice looking. The bit BUT here is that the handle has an odd design. Instead of the leather being an extension of the side trim, it would have been a more seemless design had they come from the center piece. I'm sure that doesn't make sense to everyone, but it would have made the handles hang nicer. Needs a little revamping for that price.

stylish and functional
They are calling this a tote bag, but I bought it as a purse (handbag). It is the perfect size for everything, without being huge and cumbersome. Nice interior pockets with zippers. Ideal for an every day bag with any outfit. The leather and linen are high quality and it comes in a great protector bag.

This tote is a great size and makes a wonderful purse
I read another review that said tote had no top closure and that reviewer was concerned about losing items, or having items stolen. It's true the tote has no top closure, but there is a zippered compartment in the middle that I use for my wallet and checkbook. I usually don't close a purse at the top even if there is a closing device, so this works well for me. It's attractive and the zipper for the middle compartment is so smooth I can open and close it with one hand.

Good Style, Poor Function
This handbag was very attractive and well made, but not practical. There is no snap, magnet or any type of closure mechanism at the top of the bag. The contents could easily fall out as the bag is wider than it is deep. I liked the bag but was afraid to use it.

Great bag!
I really love this tote bag. I like bags with pockets so I can find things quickly. This bag does that. It has a nice interior fabric, lots of pockets for a cell phone and small items and a large zippered middle section. I was worried about keeping the white linen outside clean, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. I would recommend this bag!

thought I recieved wrong item
I thought I recieved the wrong item when this was delivered because the color was all navy. I was going to return it without opening the bag but decided to look at what I recieved. Turns out I was mistaken - this comes packaged inside of a cloth bag. It is a very nice tote. It is pretty and is a great size for my needs. It has convenient compartments and is made sturdy. I plan on buying another as a college graduation gift for my friend.
