Recommend with caveat
I love the idea of this dress: comfortable and modest, yet stylish.
However, be aware that it does run big. Because of other reviews, I ordered a small instead of my normal medium, and it fits perfectly. (And I'm not yet on the small side of medium.)
The fabric has a very light directional pattern to it (I've seen it called "slubby" elsewhere). I've seen other knit items with this slubby look, with the pattern on the diagonal. They have done this with this dress, but I returned one of these dresses because the angle wasn't done properly, and it just made the dress look sloppy.
The second dress is fine, but it would have been even better without the pattern. I rated this a 3 because of the pattern issue, the hit-or-miss quality, and the large fit. If these issues were fixed, it would be an outstanding dress.
Having ordered a size down from normal, I am happy with the dress overall. Hides figure flaws, can be dressed up or down, looks nice alone or with accessories, and you can't beat the comfort.

Very comfortable dress.
I originally ordered the large, but had to return it as it was too long in the torso. I ordered a petite large, and it fits very nicely. I wore it to work yesterday and received many compliments. It laundered very well.

Very attractive dress
I bought this in small petite. I wasn't sure what size to buy as I take small in sweaters & blouses but medium in pants due to my middle age spread. This dress fits to a T. It is a very nice light weight stretchy material that is extremely comfortable. My middle age spread is not so evident with the style of the dress. I'm 5'1" and the petite size is just above my ankle bone. Perfect length. I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this dress as you can wear it to go grocery shopping, or dress it up with a nice necklace & shoes. I love, love, love this dress and I'm hard to please to find dresses that I find attractive on me (because of my middle age spread), while being comfortable. Wish it came in other colours. Highly recommend.

Perfect
Perfect summer dress. It's casual but you can dress it up a bit too.... So many options. I'm a petite large and the cut of the dress is great. I really like that the neckline isn't too low. It shows the perfect amount of skin without cleavage. So, if you are with family, going to church or still carrying around your little ones you aren't going to fall out or show too much. There will not be a wardrobe malfunction if you know what I mean.

Very Flattering
Depending on the cut of the clothes, I typically can wear either a small or extra small Extra small was fine for this as it runs a little big. I'm a bit "busty" and this is very tasteful and SO COMFY! As with all cottons it will shrink in length a bit (maybe an inch), but not too much. Planning on living in this dress this summer. Just love it!

Fits big
I'm normally a size 26 at Addition-elle here in Canada and Lane Bryant in the US. I reviewed the Land's End sizing chart and was slightly bigger in the hips. I thought none of the bottoms would fit me. This dress actually fits really big. I even washed it hoping it would shrink a bit but it only shrunk in the length bringing the slit much higher than I wanted. The 2X was a little too snug for my tastes. I really liked the style of the dress, as it is very comfortable and modest but would have wanted the side slits were a little too high for me..
