SIZING IS WAY OFF....
I ordered this dress in a 12 regular, because every 12P I've purchased from Land's End has been way too small and especially super-short. So, I figured I need to go with regular 12 with them. When I tried on this dress in 12 Regular, it DROWNED me! It was more like a 14. Frustrated, I returned it and I'm not sure what the deal is with sizing at LE.

Warm, Quality Dress
This dress is the perfect fit, slight A line and nice and warm. I also love that it has pockets, which were not too high or low.

returned due to odd fit
I liked the fabric, but the sizing was off. The pockets started one inch below the bust--way too high for me. The length was too short. I'm 5'8" and did not feel comfortable sitting down or bending over in this dress because of the short length. I expected it to hit around the knee as it does on the model, but the dress I received was about 4 inches above the knee. I liked the fabric and the lining, but the fit was way off from my normal Lands End size.

love it!
Very comfy! I wore it with a black T-shirt and black cardigan. It looked great! I want more!

This will be so versatile!
I ordered the 2X and probably could have gotten away with a 1X. The synopsis doesn't mention the two deep pockets which I love! Very soft, beautifully tailored, and on sale. Couldn't be happier with this. I bought this for work and it's very professional and could be formal or fun, depending on how you dress it up. Thanks LE as always.

Classy and Comfortable
I was reluctant to purchase this, because wool typically feels "itchy" to me, but I'm so glad I read the previous review. This is simply lovely! I'm 5'9" and the skirt hits at knee level. The waist sits above my natural waist, but the jumper is both flattering and comfortable. I plan to wear it either under a cardigan or over a white top. A great bargain buy for a such a well made, classic piece.

Very sweet dress, excellent sale price
This dress is a lovely warm, substantial wool and feels great to wear. I was hoping for a dress that I could also wear with a sweater so it looked like a skirt, and I can do exactly that here with no bulkiness. The pattern goes well with browns and blacks, as well as many non-neutral colors. I was concerned that the diagonal pattern on the upper half and horizontal pattern on the lower half would look weird, but they actually make this dress look more mature and interesting. The dress comes in a bit at the sides where the pockets are, in a reversal from the more common pockets-add-bulk situation, but with a cardigan or sweater it's not noticeable. Fit is roomy, but not enough to justify sizing down unless you're very close to the smaller size. For the current sale price, you can't go wrong with this.

Classic Dress -- Great Fit and Extremely Well Made
I love this dress! I know, you wonder --a sleveless wool dress in South Florida? It really works! I wear it with a short black ruffle cardigan sweater over it, and black tights. This dress is very high quality. There are even strap holders in the shoulders to keep your bra straps hidden. It's a soft wool, not itchy, nicely lined, and perfect for work. I am a tall 5'10", plus size 20, and this dress fits great, it is very slimming. The length is perfect, just to the knee, and I am thrilled that i purchased it. Looking forward to trying it with a black long sleeve T under it for winter. Thank you Lands' End!!

Adorable.
This dress is really adorable. I typically wear size 8 but they were out in petites so I went with a 10p. It is slightly loose but still completely cute. The wool is awfully soft and it is nicely lined. It would be cute with a long sleeve shirt underneath or a cardigan over top. I plan to wear it with boots and tights. Perfect new work dress!
