Retirement Dress
I have been looking for a dress that's not too dressy but not too casual. This dress perfectly fit the bill, and perfectly fits me. I wear a 2X comfortably. The front and back pleats complement one another. I normally avoid sleeveless but the dress is just so nice, I will go without sleeves. Suggestion, Land's End, do the same dress with either a short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve for other seasons. The crossover works perfectly even with my busty fugure. No pinning needed. I can't wait for the party to wear this fine dress.

Kept Both!
I bought this in both the red and blue shades, planning to return one, once I decided which color I preferred. However, once I tried them on, I decided to keep both. This dress is comfortable, flattering, both colors are pretty, and I could dress them up or down depending on accessories, shoes, etc. The quality is wonderful and I intend to wear one of them when I go to California for my son's semi-casual, outdoor, daytime wedding!

Adorable dress
As a petite gal (5' 0"), it can be difficult to find clothes that are proportioned correctly. Time and time again, I know my size is consistent with the Lands End petite line. This dress fits just right. I wear a Petite XS, and it is exactly the right size for me. The waist on this dress is very flattering, and both the drape and A-line of the skirt are balancing. There is no bulging or bulky seams in the waist or hip area. Overall, the dress is excellent in terms of fit and quality. I have not yet washed the dress, but my past experience with LE clothing is that everything washes well. I ordered the red color, and it is lovely. I am considering ordering a second one in another color!

I love this dress!
I recently bought a Medium in black, which fit perfect; more a 12 than a 10. I love the material, the fit, and the versatility of this dress. I can wear it casual or dress it up, sleeveless or with a dressy sweater. I have this dress is several colors now and I love them all!

Feminine and flirty; perfect for a summer party.
I purchased two dresses; one blue and one green. They were gifts for my daughters and the XS was a perfect fit. They usually wear a size 4, so this runs a bit generous. They have not worn or laundered them yet, but tried them on and both gals were delighted with the look and fit.

Nice, but not for me
The dress is very nice, material feels great, and I know it would be cool, classy and comfortable ... but on me, it was simply shapeless (and I'm pretty shapely!). I ordered a Medium and it was VERY big on me. The waist did not fit snugly at all, and as a result it simply hung on me. I am 5'7" and 145 lbs, with an ample bustline. I often wear a Large in tops. This was too big and not flattering at all. I considered reordering in a Small, but the waistline was a bit high, so rather than pay the shipping costs to return it again if it didn't work, I opted to simply return the Medium for a refund. Too bad ... for the right figure, it would be terrific.

This dress is the perfect dress all around!
This dress is the perfect fit. It is not too big or too small. I brought this dress in blue to match my eyes and on sale. It is one of the most comfortable Summer dresses that I own. I just purchased the same dress, in a different color, for full price since I didn't want to take the chance that Land's End would run out of my size. This "Sleeveless Solid Cotton Modal Fit and Flare Dress is a Must Have for Summer"!

Almost perfect
I am large busted so it would be perfect if the arm openings were a little higher or had darts so my bra would not show. I wear a 1X, 2X is way too big and the 1X is a little too tight in the bust.

Dream dress
I saw this dress and was thrilled. Finally, a nice fitting, classic shape! I didn't read the reviews when I ordered and got a M in the Mushroom. I'm 5'6" 155 lb. and the M was a little big. Unfortunately, they are now out of the Mushroom color, which I loved. I ordered a S in the Ink color and will see how it fits. I may end up keeping both. The material is soft and very stretchy but not clingy, and for once not thin. It's very solid and beautifully designed. The neckline flatters and doesn't gap, the back makes it easy to wear a normal bra, and the empire waist allows for imperfections in belly area. I would wear this dress every day if I could. Like some other reviewers mentioned, more please!!! I also would like to see this dress in a long-sleeve version with more colors to choose from (as long as the material was the same quality). Lands End, you've outdone yourself with this one!

Nothing too special
I found the waist a bit high; it fit more like an empire waist than a natural waist so I kept wanting to tug it down. The material was nice and not too thin or thick, but in the end I felt it was too casual for anything but a poolside cover-up kind of dress. I had wanted to wear it with a cardigan to work on hot, casual days but I didn't feel it was appropriate.
