Lovely Jackie-O dress.
I saw this dress at Sears in black and almost bought it but thought the color was too blah for spring. When I saw the punch color on-line, I snapped it up on sale. It is a gorgeous shade of CORAL RED that Jackie-O would have loved! I'm 5'4", 122 lbs and the size 4 fits me like a glove (like it was tailor made for me). Note: I am small busted. If you're larger on top, make sure to size up, since there's not much room in there. Take a chance on the color. I can't wait to wear this dress to my cousin's wedding in August.

Nice!
I've decided to keep this dress and wore it yesterday with tights and oxfords. The weight of this ponte fabric is really nice. I think I will get three-season wear out of it, and I look forward to wearing it with a cardigan and flats this summer.
I'm between sizes in Lands End clothes, and I probably could have sized down on this dress. It is made with a long zipper in the back which is totally unnecessary- I can slip this dress on over my head without doing the zipper at all. The zipper would make more sense on the side than in the back, where it bulks up too much, especially in a slightly-too-large size. But overall, I like this dress and I'm happy with it. I think the seams and fabric are very flattering.

Too many seams
If there wasn't a seam down the front middle and around the waist, it might have been OK. While stepping into it I got caught in the pocket pouch, that needs to be designed better. Sent it back, too bad I really liked the sable color and the over all cut.

Very Flattering & Great for all Seasons
I bought this dress in the "punch" color, and I have to disagree with the other reviews- I LOVE the color. I would describe it as a ripe tomato red. I looks amazing with a little black bolero sweater, black tights, and a wide black belt. I just feel happier wearing bold colors like this. The ponte fabric is amazing since it glides over trouble spots without clinging. I also bought the long sleeved ponte dress- it's more of a sexy '50s look, while this dress is more of a fun mod "60s shape. The length is perfect - hits just above the knee on me (5'5"). I too have found that Lands' End dresses in the past have run about 2" too short on me, but these ponte dresses are exactly right. I am also thrilled that I can wear this dress without tights when the weather gets warm!

Fits well, better length than most.
My measurement are an exact 2x. I ordered that size and this fits beautifully. The skirt is a better length than most LE dresses: I'm just under 5' 8" and it hits me just at the top of the knee. The punch color is a bit brighter than it appears in the picture--a sort of orangey-fuchsia rather than a bright red. Unfortunately, they are sold out in sable. This is one I'd love to see come back repeatedly in many colors--I'd buy them all.

Lovely dress - awful color
I love the cut and style of this dress and have one in black I will get tonnes of wear from but this "punch" color is dreadful. Reminds me of the old orange-pink-red lippy my Nan wore in the 70's. Wish it was pillar box red as I can imagine getting alot of wear from it - as it is it will remain in the back of the wardrobe to be toned down with black accessories on weeks when I've missed the drycleaner and am short on workwear. Disappointing.
Also - don't assume these dresses come with the belt shown - I had and they don't.

Color and shape different...
The color of this is not the blue red shown or I would not have ordered it. The color is actually a salmon pink of sorts. The dress is cut for a very tall women which I am not so it overpowered me. I sent it back but think it could be a good dress if made in a petite plus and if the colors shown on the web site were true to what you see.
