The full name for the fabric is “ponté di roma.” It’s a double knit with just the right body for dresses and skirts that work year-round — by themselves when it’s warm, layered when it’s not. This sheath style follows your curves without ever feeling tight. And the princess seams and diagonal pockets make it slimming, indeed. 67% rayon/28% nylon/5% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

please make in black I love this dress! I got the concord blue but would love to have it in a basic black - it is comfortable for travel and would look good year-round with sweaters, etc. the blue is great but distinctive - hard to keep repeating! in black it could be a constant go-to staple June 5, 2013

Shocked that it made my curvy ( bulging) body look great! I had to hold myself back from ordering one in every color! Love it! I seldom wear dresses, so I don't needed another but if I worked in an office, this would be my go to dress in every color. Just as comfortable as others have described. Ponte dress I wanted to like this. I like the style and the pockets. The fit is good except the arm holes gap a bit in front and I didn't like the seam down the front middle of the dress that starts at the waist. So, it is going back. May 29, 2013
Perfect Little Dress Simple, well made, not too tight or loose fitting. Classic style of this dress will assure I can wear it for a long time. Like to get my money's worth of wear from my clothes and will certainly do so with this purchase. Very difficult to find this type of dress at your local Dept. Store. Great classic dress..... I really never thought I would see a plain. classic dress like this that I'll probably wear for at least the next 20 years. It's a wonderful transitional dress to wear with a jacket or sweater----the fabric is too heavy to make it a summer dress. And POCKETS!!!! Why aren't there more dresses with pockets? I wear size 6 in this dress rather than my usual size 8. My only criticism is that the waist hits under my ribs rather than at my actual waist, but that's the unfortunate style these days.
