Pretty and perfect for a variety of occassions.
I ordered this in a size 10 in the watermelon color. I am 5' 10" so the dress falls well above my knees but that's fine. I put it on with the belt it came with and "modeled" for my husband and he loved it! I then went back to try on several different belts, a thin black one worked the best, and he loved it even more!
I can see wearing this to work, shopping, vacation, dinner, etc. It's very versatile, especially when changing the belts and shoes and you can also add a cardigan for another look. Fabric is high quality and it is nicely lined. It's a keeper!

Fabulous fit in the plus size!!
I was skeptical when I ordered it about how it would fit around my hips ( which I think are wide) especially because of the buttons in the front of the dress BUT it is so lovely!
Beautiful linen fabric, good quality and the fit is perfect. I am an 18 in plus size and reading all the reviews helped me to pick a size.
This dress is so worth the sale prize and the green colour looks fabulous on my brown skin!
I live in Canada so it will be be few months before I can wear this but I love it...
I will probably not use the belt.

Nicely made, but a little boring for me
Lands' End produced some great dresses last summer and I've been using the sales to pick up some of the better ones. I ordered this dress in beige as a nice neutral item for work, but I found it very underwhelming. This dress is exactly as advertised, with a good linen feel and nice buttons, but it has an overall uninteresting look and dowdy appearance. Not for me. Sent it back.

Top fit well but bottom was too large on me.
I am a size larger on top and the 14 petite fit well in that area. The length was also good on my 5'4" self. However, the skirt portion was much too wide & flared for my size 10-12 lower body. If you're a size smaller on top than the bottom this dress should work well for you. The fabric was very nice and I liked the watermelon color more than I thought I would.

Another Keeper
I was very impressed with the fabric and workmanship of this dress. It has french seams (no raw edges on the inside), real mother of pearl buttons (no plastic here!), and the fabric is a very nice weight. I absolutely love the style - fits nicely on top, roomy fitting in the hips gives it an easy look. It looks looser on me than on the model pictured, but that is what I prefer for linen. I ordered the size 2 and the length is just below the knee. I'm 5'4", 116 lbs. My actual body measurements are: Bust 32.5 inches, Waist 27 inches, Hips 37 inches. It's another keeper -- I ordered both the brown and the watermelon!

Great for the summer/fall
This is a great dress for the summer and transition into the fall with a light blazer. The quality is very nice for the price paid. I like the true to size fit. It is not clingy and a great length just at the middle of my knee (5'7"). I recommend this item.

Runs a little large
The dress arrived today and I tried it on immediately to find it was too big. I was unsure which size to go with since I am a 12 on top and a 14 on the bottom. It was way too big on top and I felt I had enough room to spare on the bottom to try the size 12. I called right away to make the exchange and I'm hoping the size 12 will work. Seems like a nice dress for the hot weather we are having. I will write another review when I receive the size 12,

Excellent Summer Shirt Dress
I ordered the green dress and am very pleased with the colour, material, and finish. I'm 5'6" and approx. 155 lbs., broader on my shoulders and chest than my hips. I own several LE shirt dresses in size 14. Compared with my other shirt dresses, the fit on the bust on this dress is a bit tighter, so I have to remedy the slight gape between button 2 & 3 with double sided fabric tape. I still like the dress nonetheless. Love the green!
