This dress was way too roomy on the top. I am a 36C and ordered a size 12. It was like wearing a bag!
The material was nice.The color was pretty. I had planned to wear it to a wedding in June.

Lovely and unusual dress
Love the pattern, the fit, the colors, everything about it! A great bargain. The silk hangs well and will not be too hot for summer since it is 3/4 sleeve and everything here is air-conditioned. A great dress for church, or maybe my daughter's high school graduation. I haven't seen a pattern like this before. I'm 20 pounds overweight, and don't usually wear patterened dresses but this one works.

looks like a bag
This is the worst dress I've ever purcahsed from Land's End. It's huge, droopy and has no shape. It has extra fabric and pleats in all the wrong places. I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs. and bought the size 4. It makes me look droopy and hippy - if that''s even possible. Save your money and get something else.

disappointment
beautiful color and fabric, however - it's enormous on top. I'm a size 4 and I don't have a size extra-large bust. It's cut so low it was below my bra line and it was falling off the shoulders, and since I'm boxy in the shoulders I think it was the dress, not me. It made me look like a sack of potatoes, no shape to it.

This dress made me feel pretty -- mostly.
I love this dress -- the fabric draped nicely, the color was great, the styling was very flattering. I was pleased with every detail of this dress except one. The elastic in the waist would have been just right for a younger woman. I have developed a bit of an apple shape, unfortunately, and the elastic hit the wrong spot. If the top part of the dress had been an inch longer, this would have been my favorite dress in years. As it was, I had to send it back. The fault was mine, not the garment's.

TOO SHORT
This is a really pretty dress if you are short. I'm only 5 ' 8 " and it is just above my knee. This style of dress should be in a classic below knee length. If you're shorter, then it will be a good fit for you, or if you really like short skirts (esp. in winter) you'll love it. The front is not secure though, and you'll have to install snaps or pin it to get it to stay closed. The fabric is very pretty, color is pretty. I'm debating about keeping it. If I can get a long lace slip to go underneath that looks okay, then I will keep it -- otherwise it's going back since it's not modest on me.

Feminine Dress
This is a pretty dress that comes to just over the knee on my 5'6" 142 lb frame. It is unlined. The top has a faux wrap fit which I would NOT describe as secure! However if you have an ample bosom it might not be a problem. I gave it only four stars as I am going to have to have my tailor add a couple of snaps to the neckline for modesty.
