Women's Silk Keyhole Dress 4 5 5 5
Very cute but pullover style could be issue for some Good: Very cute style. On the short side so for younger person. Love the fabric Fit: True to size. Daughter is normally a 10/12. Based on other reviews ordered an 8. Big mistake sent it back for a 10. Still snug in arms and bust. Will be returning it for a 12 and hope it is not too loose. The problem is that the pullover style with no give in the gathered waist requires a loose fit so you can get it over the shoulders. If they would have added a side zip or give in the waist this dress would be perfect. May 18, 2013
cute dress Thank goodness I bought a size 8 in the dress. I have square/broad shoulders and it would have been tight with a size 6. I'm 5'4" so the dress hits me about 2 inches above the knee. The dress is cute and lightweight. The only problem I have with the dress is that the back seems a lot fuller/looser than the front. Is it intentionally suppose to be looser in the back? Either that or I lost a lot of the rear end. Overall I'm pleased with the dress. April 27, 2013
Beautiful dress This really is a beautiful dress. It drapes nicely, has great color, feels really good and is very flattering. Unfortunately, I had to return it. It was not the dress, it's me. I did not realize the waistline dipped down in the back substantially. I am short waisted and generally wear a petite. The back dip made the dress bunch up on my shortened frame. I am 5'4" and very short-waisted. I would love to have kept this dress. April 16, 2013
Silk potato-sack The Canvas sizing chart listed my exact measurements as a size 8, so that's what I ordered. This dress would probably accomodate a size 12 woman. The waist was at least 2 or 3 inches too loose, and hung down below my natural waist, eliminating my shape entirely. It was also very loose in the bust, and I am a DD. Obviously, the fit is amazingly misrepresented online- it is not fitted in any way to the shape of a woman's body, and it is definitely not "true to size." I was also disappointed to see that "candy apple red" is actually a nasty burnt orange color in person- my mom told me it looked like a winter dress. A silk dress should make you feel luxurious and beautiful, not matronly and pudgy. Will be returning this awful bag. March 29, 2013
The fabric feels very light and airy and is not lined so I would suggest wearing some kind of slip underneath. I was on the fence with whether to buy this dress or not - decided to get the color in Candy Apple Red; , when it arrived, it was a lot better than I thought it would be. It looked really short on the model and the website didn't seem to have a size in petite as I am only 5'2 without heels. It is a bit longer on me, falls just right above the knee cap (which I like because I hate short dresses). The fabric feels very light and airy and is not lined so I would suggest wearing some kind of slip underneath. It has a vintage feel to this dress, kind of like the flapper dress from the 1920s. It is very versatile because I am able to pair it with a lot of different things to either dress it up or down (cardigans, boots, flats, heels). Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
