This would probably look very nice on a person with a boyish figure, but for most women the start of the pleats is in the wrong place to look "graceful"

The quality is very good. It fits like it should; I wore it to church; a tad short for church, but very cute.

Love this plaid skort!
Fits great and wear it a lot. I got a red/navyand wear it with navy tights & navy sweater. Slimming style & comfortable. I purchased a sz 10, my usual size, and fits perfect. Im 5'7" and it is 3" above my knees. Plan to get this in an another color also.

I would wear it everyday of the year!
I cannot say enough about how much I love these skorts- They look sharp, the pleats stay nice, the fabric drapes well. I love them and I wish Land's End made them in wool, in cotton, in prints, in tweeds, in everything. I have two of this model and I will buy most of the colors eventually. I have 3 other LE skorts in different styles and I love those also! The only thing I would change is the pocket- PLEASE make it real and not just decorative! Can you imagine the power of this garment then? With your wallet, or your guide book in your pocket? This skort is the answer to how to dress for the contemporary Feminist.

Just got it in the mail and the picture doesn't do it juctice.
I tryed it on and plan on wearing it as apart of an upscale school girl outfit. I have loved the concept for along time and this skirt is very cute, and wearible without being revealing like most plaid skirts of its kind. Great price and love the colors. Just to give you an Idea, I'm 5''9 and it hits just 3inches above the knee.. Very Classy!

Cute color, but...
I ordered a different color in a juniors' size and prefer it to the women's fit. I liked the style and the color, so I will be exchanging it for the same color in a junior's size.

Great idea, needs a little work
The outside skirt is a great look, but the issue I have is with the shorts underneath: they are much tighter than I'd prefer, and have a tendency to "ride up" after sitting down or while walking. It's not a very big deal, but since the overall skort sits up very high on the waist, it's not really possible to just wear it lower to counter-act the short issue.
Overall I would definitely recommend this product, and the sizing is true to the chart (at least for me).

Almost perfect
Quality is great, fits exactly how the sizing chart says. The only thing I don't like is the shorts underneath are not a neutral color. I bought the one that's gray and red plaid - the shorts match the red color. I think it looks weird. Especially since I plan to wear black or grey tights. I wish the description included the color of the shorts underneath. I still love the product and would recommend buying it.

Nice plaid skirt
I am 5'4" with a slim build. This skirt is flattering with a nice above the knee but not too short length.
