not as good as the old version
This fabric is thinner than the old version. It shows the bust lines. I must wear the cardigan over it at all times, so that the layers cover me enough to maintain my modesty. I liked the old version with a real cotton that had enough weight to wear by itself. The price is high enough that I expect these to last as long as my older ones, ten years or so.
I am not sure I'll order any more, because they feel too flimsy, compared to the old version. I think they won't last.

Good but too short for Tall people
It fit very well but was short in the body for a tall person. Knit was of great quality.

This sweater is very versatile in any season.
I can wear this sweater during any season, in the fall and winter with the matching cardigan and in the summer alone.

Pattern change.
Why do you change a product when it is so good? News bulletin...if a person is ordering PLUS size, we do not need the pattern cut smaller. The sleeves are shorter and it is now smaller in the bodice. If someone want things shorter or slimmer...order a petite or regular size. This product and the Polo tops have been changed to fit a regular size person not a plus sized woman. Plus usually means heavier...bigger arms...so longer is better. You can always hem something too long. Please see my comparative photo.

Very Disappointed
Sorry to say I will not be ordering these sweaters anymore. Each year the quality and fit has suffered. It makes me sad because I used to have several when they were the heavier guage knit.

Poor quality.
I have purchased this product for several years and these sweaters have greatly deteriorated in quality. This new version is thin and inferior. I will not purchase them again.

Quailty is going down each year
This used to be my go to top. Now it has gone from being a light worsted weight yarn to sock yarn. It does not hold it's shape, you can see through lighter colors. Since Sears purchased Lands End the quality just keeps diminishing. Soon instead of being noted for quality, they will be the place to shop for a single season. What a pity.

Too short, odd cut
I really wish Land's End would bring back the old supima fine-gauge shells. I have bought these twinsets in medium petite for years. I don't mind the new fabric, and the matching cardigan fits OK, but the new style of shell is too short (rides up at the waist, which becomes indecent at the office unless you are wearing very high-waisted pants) and the placement of the arm holes is somehow different so that I tend to get a horizontal crease at the armpits when the whole thing rides up. Not sure if changing to a medium regular would alleviate this problem; the petite cardigan fits and I wouldn't want that any longer. I won't be buying any more of these shells, sadly.

Loved all-cotton crew
I agree with other reviewers that the all-cotton crew was better. Better fit and the sleeves were longer, almost to the elbow. The newer version just isn't as good, but color choices are great.

Not like the old sweaters
Poor fit--sleeves too tight and short. Bought floral cardigan to go with crew and the material is different. Definitely not the quality we used to get in this Lands' End product.
