Average sweater but nothing special
Sweater is soft and comfortable but has somewhat boxy fit. It washed up fine when using a mesh laundry bag to avoid snags. It's not one of my favorites. Also ordered in red but that one was too tight in the bust. I come back to Lands End again and again because their clothes fit my style and they carry petites, but the inconsistent sizing is SO frustrating.

Very nice top
I really like this top. I will wear it with my suits, which I have already done. It looks nice with or without the jacket. I read the comments about the neck, but it lies smoothly on mine and looks very nice. I have several very expensive silk knit tops and I think this top looks as nice as they do, but it should wear longer. I have not yet washed it, but expect it will be fine.

I returned this
I have about a dozen of these but found the quality of the new version was much worse--now I see that it isn't all cotton any more! I'm glad I sent it back.

Not as good as the old version
The review says, "Our better blend of 78% acrylic / 22% nylon means it feels softer and will resist pilling and fading, wash after wash." The fabric is of lower quality than previous (2012) versions of this sweater that had a higher cotton content (96% cotton, 3% nylon, and 1% lycra). This current version of the sweater is almost see-thru in the white color. The neckline fits funny. The sweater doesn't feel as good to wear as the previous version.
Land's End -- bring back the old version, and I will buy this sweater. I won't buy this version anymore.

It changed --weird neckline / shoulder line now
I had three of these sweaters and liked them very much (and would recommend them). A year or so after my first purchase, I decided to get some more colors. But the more recent purchase, the material is different and the fit is weird. Something about the neckline -- it's too wide maybe and the shoulder line is too narrow?? Unlike a previous reviewer, I do not have square shoulders so that is not the problem. But there is definitely something weird about the neckline and shoulders-- on my most recent purchase. The "same" sweaters I bought a year ago (2012) were great.

Very disappointed in fit
Neckline drops to shoulder blades. Frumpy!

Very pretty shade of Mulberry
Love this sweater--bought it in the matching 3/4 sleeve cardigan. This short sleeve sweater also matches another jacket I already had in my closet. I highly recommend it.

Seemed to shrink in first wash but otherwise is great! Maybe order a size larger.
This is a replacement for one I bought last year which shrink after the first wash in cold water. I have matching cardigan-makes a great sweater set! I love all LE merchandise and have a closet full!

Great quality and I'm happy with this top.
The XS small was sold out so I took a chance and bought the XXS and was happy it fit true to size.

weird neckline and sleeves
I bought this sweater, hoping that although it isn't cotton, it might fit me well. After all, the information says "full fashioning for a 'made for you' fit." However, I have square shoulders. This sweater was designed for someone who has sloping shoulders. This sweater fits me terribly. The neckline is too short in front, and too long in back. It feels like it's choking me in front and rides into my hairline in back, and puckers terribly. The front seams for the sleeves lie on the sides of my bosom, not near my underarms. The sleeves pull up on the top, because they're too short. The seams for the tops of the sleeves lie about halfway between the point of my shoulders and my neck. This sweater is obviously built to the same pattern as the "new" fine-gauge cotton-blend sweaters that Lands End is now selling, and it is a terrible pattern! neither of the sweaters fits me properly. I am very disappointed, and will be returning this sweater asap.
