Pockets are weird
I am short (5'2") and chubby, size 1x. I ordered a Large (14/16) and it fits well with a thin cami under. The pockets on the side of the white one are just plain weird. Because it is linen, you can visibly see the pockets on the side. And because the pockets are on the side seam they lay funny. I will be ripping the pockets out and stitching it up so that I may use this as a shirt. I can see that this would be a cute cover-up for skinny people, but for us chubbies I don't find the pockets flattering.

Runs very big
I received this shirt today in white and love the quality of the material, but it runs way too big. I will be sending it back and ordering a couple sizes smaller.

This shirt was HUGE
I usually buy a large with linen so that when I wash it, it can shrink a little and still be comfortable, but this is HUGE. I would have to order a small and then wash it to even be able to wear it, and I am not a tiny person. My daughter's friend said to keep it and not return it and use it as a pillowcase. Well, I don't have a pillow that large or I would!

Nice summer shirt
Yes, it does run large and I didn't read the disclaimer before purchasing. I'm sure it will shrink somewhat in the wash, but it is so comfortable. A cami underneath gives a little color and covers the low cut front.

love the picture, not the shirt
I ordered this shirt twice, first in my normal size, then in 2 sizes smaller. It was still way to big. Such a shame.

Great Shirt; Runs Very Large
Like other reviewers have noted, this shirt runs VERY, VERY large. I ordered the smaller of the two Lands' End sizes I most often wear, and could still probably have gone down another. Nevertheless, this is a great shirt. The linen is sturdy and thick, though I would still recommend a cami underneath, since linen can be rather transparent in bright light. The soft, billowy fabric works well with its generous sizing, making it an excellent summer tunic.

Sad to see so many poor reviews...
I love this top. I got it in dusty jade and wear it quite regularly. By size chart standards I should be an XL. In reality I am typically a LE Large. I have learned to disregard the size charts and rely on reviews. I did so, ordered the Medium and it's perfect! The tunic length is great for covering the mid-section flaws. I find it an overall flattering look. You do need to wear a cami beneath, unless you pin it - I prefer the cami look. Most frequently, I wear it with a white cami and white ankle jeans. It looks awesome and I personally find it very comfortable.

Way too big
I am a fairly average-sized woman, so I followed the size chart and ordered the medium. It was huge! The front neckline came down so low, I would have to wear a camisole so my bra would not show, which kind of defeats wearing something light in hot weather. This is going back.

Sorry to say it, but I'm disappointed.
The tunic runs too big. Never happened before with LE products. I like the color and the fabric. I live abroad and returning it will cost a lot.

Not only too big, but weird cut
It is a pretty color jade, but the proportions are just odd. I don't think these sleeves would be flattering on anyone except perhaps the very small or very plus-sized. I ordered a size smaller than usual, but it was still like a gigantic tent. I'm a seamstress and at first wanted to take it apart and re-sew it because I liked the fabric so much, but the cut of the sleeves was just too problematic to deal with.
