Love it, love it
Wow, cannot believe this fits so perfectly. I'm 5'1" and 139 lbs. I ordered Petite Med and this is true to size for me. I am so pleased I will order another one in a different color. This is perfect for work, dinner, a casual event for the warm weather. I suppose I can wear this in the cooler weather with a sweater. I just love this dress!
I'm 65 and finding nice clothes that are well made and stylish is not so easy. This one is perfect.

Not Like the Picture
I am forever looking for the perfect black, slightly A-line, stretchy, above the knee, short-sleeved dress. This one seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately, the cut is all wrong: Big on top, narrow on the bottom, it's just not well-proportioned. The dollman sleeves, as a previous reviewer stated, make the top bulky and wide. I am small-busted, and this dress makes me look "inflated" above the waist, while it tends to cling below it. I like the fabric; it's lustrous and has a nice weight to it. I am 5'1 and weigh 135 lbs.. I buy Land's End dresses either in Small or Medium and they are always perfectly proportioned, fitting great. This dress is not, and does not. So sorry. I really wanted for it to fit. I will keep on looking ...

utterly, shockingly fabulous
I bought the navy scoopneck a long time ago on clearance, thinking, 'why not? just try it out.' Well, the weather finally allowed me to wear it, and Voila, wow, what great dress! The fabric moves with you but has enough weight to not have static cling. I paired it with knee-high slouchy boots, and I was just telling my sweetie how confident this outfit makes me feel. The photo doesn't show it, but the cut up top is very wide: it's meant to be like that, for it's not one of those dresses that shows off bust line (what little I have). It's supposed to be relatively loose but subtle in revealing any curves. And I was at the office all day and felt comfortable sitting in it all day, wrinkle-free. This is my new fave!!!
I am 5'2" 130lbs, relatively small busted, and I bought the petite XS, but for the cut of this dress, I'd say it's pretty true-to-size.
Even though I have dresses in the green and the red, now I'm going to buy this dress in these colors just because I like the style so much.

Horrible....
Don't order this dress - it is nothing like the picture. I ordered a medium which is my normal size, but the top was huge and baggy (and I am a busty girl)! I exchanged it for a small and then the top fit better (still not great though) but the bottom was way too tight. Land's End seriously dropped the ball on this one - which is too bad because the dress looks really cute on the model, and I would have loved for it to have fit me properly. A navy t-shirt dress would have been a very flexible addition to my summer wardrobe. Needless to say, I'm bummed....

Dolman sleeves make a droopy fit on top
Ordered a size 6 in wild cherry--the color's a true red, so that's nice, but the fit is too big. The dolman sleeves make a lot of extra material droop under the arms, and I feel like I'm wearing a dress that's a couple of sizes too big on top. This one is being returned.
