It fit big so that you could wear something under it. Well made. I returned it due to the fact that the wool content was too much for my skin to handle. January 6, 2013
The oddest-shaped sweater you'll ever love The odd shape? Picture a lower-case t, upside down. Ish. The shape might be a bit daunting, but it works. The trick is to play around with the ginormous collar/shoulders in front of a mirror, as you would with a scarf. I spent the holidays in it, and now it is great in the office over a simple blouse, too. When my friend first saw me in it she said, "Oh! I like your... cape??" It is a bit like a cape, and as with a cape, it's not a shape you can functionally lift your arms way up in without bearing your midriff, so wear something long underneath. When you're not lifting your arms, however, It's snuggly and warm, and works well over leggings or skinny jeans, as it's longer in the back. I got a nice price break on it-- not sure I'd pay the full price. January 5, 2013
beautiful feel- like a warm hug- but cant lift your arms. I love, love, loved this sweater when I took it out of the box. The material is like your favorite throw blanket. It took a moment to figure out which end was the top but once i got it on it was comfortable. I am a tall person so I quickly realized that it was rather short on me. I was willing to deal with it because it was so cozy until I realized because of the sleeve design when you lift your arms up at all the whole sweater comes up and here comes your entire belly. I also couldn't figure out how to get a coat over it because of the sleeve design. I loved the sweater and considered keeping it for couch days but it was too expensive, even on sale, for that. Beautiful, soft fabric, but sleeves are strangely shaped Loved the look of the sweater. It is stunning. The cowlneck drapes beautifullly. BUT, decided to return because of the strange shaping of the sleeves. The issue is not that they are short. That's clear from the picture. What's not clear is that the sleeves are attached to the body of the sweater for almost the complete length of the sleeve, which makes it difficult to lift one's arms in any natural way. I felt like a penguin. A beautifully clothed penguin, but a penguin nonetheless. November 27, 2012
Just like the picture. An unusual design, but I love it! The fit is true to size. It is soft and cuddly, as I anticipated it would be. I have worn it only once, to an evening meeting and received many compliments on it. November 25, 2012
