Women's ShapeWear Ombre Bandeau Tankini Swimsuit Top
Rare, but bad design
Our family wears exclusively Lands' End bathing suits so we were willing to give this one a try inspite of the reviews. It really is a terrible design. The lining and strips of color do not lay correctly. We sent it back. It doesn't matter how much of a sale it goes on, it won't work for us.

I purchased this swimsuit last fall, and just now got to wear it. First time, I noticed the lining creeping out over the top of the swimsuit, and figured I could fix this with a few stitches. The second time I wore it the strap broke on one side. I usually enjoy LE swimsuits and their quality construction, but this one is a bust. Very disappointed.

Don't bother to purchase
I have many Lands'End swimsuits, but this top went right back.
The padded cups were rediculous, unless you have no bust at all. Taking out the pads didn't help either.
The soft cup and the lining stayed on the outside of the suit and made it impossible to wear. Although I have the matching bottoms (which I kept for another time), the top went right back to Sears.

great material and looks nice on.
I thought the top fits great.

I can see why there is such a huge selection in overstocks...
I read reviews of similar tops from the same product line before buying this, as this one had no reviews. Everyone was DEFINITELY right about products from this line fitting small--I bought a 4 and a 6 to compare, and the 6 fit even tighter than a 4 would usually fit on me (small busts--if I want to keep my boobs in a swimsuit top, I have to accept that I have to strain it past my shoulders). So...I could hardly get it on, and the shelf/soft cup bra made it hard to get on--it peeled away from the suit and was hard to adjust.
Once I got it on, I couldn't get the colored part to lie straight--it was all twisted, and even with the straps up, it wouldn't lie straight. I should have known something was up when I saw it in so many sizes and colors on overstocks. Skip this and get something else.
