Nice looking bottoms
Read the sizing chart! I ordered 2 sizes down, according to my waist and hip measurements, and got a good fit. These bottoms fit well, are well-made, and seem to stay up pretty well without being too tight. ( I don't need minimizing support, but I like a little support, and these bottoms are good for that.) The dark blue color is almost black, so I think it could be worn to coordinate with either blue or black tops. These bottoms fit very high up on the body, which is higher than I like, but the other choices were too low cut. I would prefer something in-between. I liked these bottoms, but since I didn't like the top that I ordered to go with them, I sent both the top and bottoms back.

Love it!
For the fist time I can wear a tankini-style bathing suit because I no longer have to contend the "muffin top" that shows with a bottom that hits at the waist or below. Does seem to fit a bit large.

Leg holes too big
I wish they would have made this with the lower leg cut. I like the higher waist under a tankini eliminating the bottom suit line, but the legs are too big and the high cut does make it either sag or ride up.

not enough coverage
The idea is great - one smooth line all the way up to the ribcage with no extra bulges. However, I don't consider it "full coverage in back"! If you have a normal size backside you'll find yourself constantly trying to pull it down in back. Maybe ordering a larger size will help, but I'd think that would compromise the control factor.

Terrible fit, leg openings are hugh!!!!!
I purchased a similar bottom several years ago and have been waiting since then for them to bring back the higher waisted style again. I was so excited to see it this year. Unfortunately the fit is completely different. The leg openings are 3" bigger than the previous style. They're so big I can get my fist into the leg opening!!! I'm so disappointed that Lands End changed what was a great suit.

It's not tugless - but still good.
Was not as compressive as I had expected, but still smooths everything. The leg is not like the tugless line - it's a little higher and a bit more flattering. I found myself adjusting the back, as all my other suits (all from LE) have a lot of compression in them and naturally seem to stay down. It didn't creep too far so I can live with this.
I like the seaming and the ruching at the hip is nice. I have a high waisted bottom (in regular sizing) from last year that is quite plain and utilitarian. This one is more stylish.
This won't squeeze like the other brand (rhymes with 'thanx') - so it is suitable for water exercise.
I wore it with the zip-up rash guard and my own bra - and was very comfortable at wtr aerobics. I ordered the blue and black early in the season because I think the sellout risk will be high.
