Cool & Crisp!
I received this dress a few days ago, and decided to try it on to see if it fit! The fit was just right for me(5'6"/175 lbs) but was a bit annoyed by the side zipper and the fact that the top portion is seamed! It doesn't make sense if you are trying to get into the dress. Overall, I like this cute, summer dress. The armholes are not too low and they do not gap. This is a big plus for me! Simple and modest, it reminds me of a dress I wore when I was in high school('65-'69)!

Beautiful...But fits very poorly
While I did not have as bad an experience as the reviewer before me, I do have to agree that the fit of this dress is not flattering and does not match the fit of any other Lands End clothing I have tried. It is a gorgeous dress, which is why I was willing to buy it even without it being on sale at all. The material is very light and airy and just felt like summer. But the fit was just off somehow. Too tight in the bust. Too loose in the torso. The belt was not at a flattering location on me. I am petite, so the length was already a concern to me. The dress would have had to be a perfect fit otherwise for me to keep it. Alas, I have to take it back. Hopefully Land's End will put out a better fitting dress similar to this in the future in either above knee or maxi length!!

Looks like an apron
I'm very small so I was surprised that I couldn't get this dress over my head. There is a side zipper but oddly it doesn't open at the top! The first inch and half of the side of the dress is stitched closed where the zipper should be started, making the zipper completely useless. I'm very small busted, yet the dress was too tight across the bust, and after a struggle to try it on it looked like an apron from the front. The back view is attractive but unfortunately I will return this dress due to the bad sizing.
