Fit is odd.
I tried a 12 petite which was too big in the hip & thigh area, but too small at the lower leg opening. Going up or down a size won't help.

The fit is weird!
The waist is a bit snug, fits fine in the hips and then the calf/leg area is way to tight. I plan to return them.

Recommend if further discounted - Avoid the white
These fit VERY small! As long as you know this then you can save the return money. I am an LE size 14/16 in pants. Reading that these were tighter than most LE pants, I ordered the 16 (usually when reviews say they fit small then I am at the 16 end of the spectrum). Still too tight! That being said, the fit seems as if it will be quite nice once the sizing is dealt with. I don't mind the skinny legs. They are advertised as skinny. If skinny is not what you are looking for then go for the slim ankle chinos in petite for the more cropped look - they're great! The fabric is soft and lovely, but thin. I ordered in the white and the seams scream out bright white in contrast with the rest of the pant. I intend to wear with tunics anyway so I don't mind the pocket show-through and can live with the "pin-stripe" look down the sides of my legs, but for the price this is not really acceptable. That all being said, I am going to give the 18 (eek!) a try in the blue - but only when one of those 25-30% offers show up online. These should be further discounted! If LE is finally going to start to make clothes that are actually in line with the size charts then you should inform the customers. Better yet: provide actual (and accurate) garment measurements for your products (like some of your competitors do) - I love your products but it is getting tiresome playing guessing games with sizing and leaving the responsibility of accurate sizing reporting to your online customers.

Pay attention to the EXTRA SKINNY FIT!!
I am returning these pants unfortunately as they fit strange.And they are not styled like my favorite "five-pocket jean" at all! I am either a size 4 or 6 and I ordered both a 6 petite and a 4 regular. I am a small person and they were just tight everywhere and the waist seemed lower than a normal Fit 2 pant. I also ordered a pair of chinos and they fit great. I just could not tolerate the extra skinny leg as they do not fit like the rest of my skinny pants. Would like to love these as the fabric is nice.
