Love, love, love these boots!
They are easy on with the zip-up back and with the stacked heel, provide stability and support. The sock liner and arch support are wonderful too. They are a quality product with a unique look too ....I chose the dark pecan and received numerous compliments the first time that I wore them!

Beautiful boots
i took a chance on these boots. I typically wear high end boots and am very picky about my footwear. These boots are lovely. They look like $500 boots. Very well done and I am proud to wear them. Landsend has made improvements this year, in my opinion. I sure hope they keep it up. I ordered the black and then my sister also ordered a pair.

Elegant, comfortable, excellent quality booties
I first bought the pecan color bootie, I loved them so much, that I bought the brown ones, they are almost black, so I can use them with black pants. They are true to size. Sure recommend the this product, very well made.

Poor quality
I have worn these probably about 4 days a week for the entire winter. They look like I have had them for years so I will only get one season out of them. I paid the original price and assumed the high price tag meant they would last. Not only is the leather not looking good but the sole and heel are actually loosing their color. A weird red color (black shoes) is coming through on the outer rim. I also had to add inserts about half of the way through the winter as they become increasingly painful to stand on. I won't order shoes from this company again as the quality just isn't there. I gave it two stars because I still think this is a very handsome looking shoe.

i have only one complaint.
i usually wear 6.5 in aerosoles, 9 west, j crew, born. the fit on these are perfect for me. the sturdy heel is so comfortable, fabulous appearance and quality. if only the top cuff were dipped down just a touch, a quarter of an inch will do it, so that it doesn't cut across my ankle while walking. i've only worn these out once and am considering returning them, i have to come to a decision soon. i really love these shoes and that's my only complaint.

Can't believe how awesome they are.
I just got these in the mail and I am freaking out because they are truly gorgeous boots that should cost way more than I paid. The leather is beautiful. The heel is the perfect height. They are just amazing. I am sooooooo happy. I hope LE comes out with a black version of them for next season. Thank you Lands End!!!

Great fit and style
I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried this on this booty. I wear a size 8 and usually order an 81/2 when buying boots or booties because I don't like shoes rubbing against any part of my foot. With this bootie, I ordered the 81/2 and the fit is perfect for wearing a thin sock with. But, best of all, the shoe does not rub the tops of my toes or the back of my heel. The zipper also does not come into contact with my heel. Other reviewers were correct in saying to simply press on the top of the zipper to easily open it. This shoe looks great and is comfortable to wear. I ordered the brown and will now order the black.

Well-crafted and classic
I bought two pairs of these boots as part of a Labor Day sale, and I have been wearing them all winter. They are very comfortable, given the heel height. They look fantastic with jeans and slacks, and the leather is supple and easy to clean. However, they are a bit difficult to unzip because of the way the zipper curves against the heel. Also, the soles are a bit slick, especially on the snow. If Land's End updates these boots, I would suggest some better traction on the sole. No lug soles though, that would disrupt the beautiful, clean lines this boot has. All in all, I have gotten a lot of wear out of these boots and I expect to enjoy them for many more years.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful and Comfy
This is a beautiful bootie - I bought one in black, brown, and tan!!! I get compliments all the time and everyone wants to know where I got them. They are very comfortable. The slight platform makes it easy to walk in, very sturdy step.
Note: How to unzip the back heel??? There is a technique so don't be discouraged as other reviewers were. Simply push in at the top of the zipper with one hand and pull zipper down with the other hand. Works every time very simply. As the zipper is curved to the back of your heel/lower achilles tendon area, pushing the zipper in at the top straightens the zipper path for an easy slide!!!
Recommendation to Land's End: 1. Create a little V-shaped cutout in the front center of bootie so it doesn't cut into front of ankle/shin area with each step. Also, as bootie is breaking in, a slight buckle is developing at the top front of bootie. Not a deal breaker, but a cutout would allow for freer leg movement. 2. Add a tiny bit more memory foam padding to the ball of foot and toe area!! They are comfy, just saying I could use some more!

Beautiful Boot
I first ordered these in black to wear with jeans that needed a high heel. These boots looks far more expensive then they are and I receive loads of compliments too. After wearing my boots all day walking at a trade show and through the city streets afterwards, I couldn't believe that my feet weren't killing me at day's end. Wow! I ordered these in the other two colors, dark brown and the orangey-brown. Again, both are beautifully made. The orangey-brown remind me of an old favorite pair of Frye boots from back in the day. The zipper is a bit stiff at first but each pair of boots have gotten easier with each use. The stitching, quality sole both inside and out, and lovely boot leather are incredible. Well done.
