Description

A dress for girls who “don’t wear dresses.”

  • Soft all-cotton fabric
  • Flattering open henley neckline and banded collar
  • A drawstring at the waist adds shape
  • Two button-flap chest pockets, plus onseam side pockets
  • Sleeves roll and secure with button tabs
  • Classic knee length
  • Shoulder to hem lengths: Regular, 40”; Petite, 37 1/2”

Even if you’re not a “dress girl,” sometimes a dress is called for. What if you had a dress as comfortable as your favorite shirt? You know — the perfectly soft one you wear when you need just that extra bit of comfort (or comforting). Done. And not only is this dress comfy, it’s as cool and cute as can be, with its roll sleeves and drawstring waist. You might end up loving it more than the shirt — or the pants that go with it. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Women's Roll Sleeve Chambray 2-pocket Henley Dress 2.6 5 8 8
Spring Surprise Last summer, I bought this garment (in size 1X) and it quickly became my go-to dress for the season and into Fall. I'd gained some weight and this was one thing I could put on and feel good about how I looked. This Spring, I was eager to getting it back into use but had forgotten that I'd lost 30 pounds in the interrim! Of course, the dress was swimming on me but I determined to get it altered, no matter the cost. Then, lo and behold! What do I see in Women's Sale Dresses? And in Size 14! And at a lower price than my tailor's bill, for sure! Lands End, Why am I continually surprised when you continually amaze me?! April 18, 2013
Decent summer dress if you like a little more coverage I ordered this dress because of the awesome sale price. It fits well and it cute, not spectacular though and definitely looks better in the picture. It is VERY thin but it is fully lined (thin cotton as well) so you cannot see through it. I actually think it is the perfect dress for summer because it is very breathable and I don't always want my arms fully showing. April 15, 2013
PJs Unfortunately in person this dress looks and feels like pajamas. Shockingly thin, and even has that slightly silky pajama feel. Add in the shapeless design and it has to go back. April 14, 2013
Too large I always purchase 8P from Lands Ends. This dress runs large and the waist is long, better fits around my hips. Material is nice and soft and skirt is lined. This is the first time I have to send an order back! February 1, 2013
fun and easy style for all body types I found this on clearance at a Sears store and tried it on a whim. I actually really like it. I bought it one size up and use the drawstring to cinch the waist in. I keep the top buttons open (like in the picture) so I wear it with a white lace tank. Overall, I'm very pleased. Love the pockets and ease of fabric. October 12, 2012
Contrary to the other reviews... I think this dress is super cute. I'm absolutely loving the season's tie-waist dresses, so I just had to buy this when I saw it; they are so figure-forgiving and comfortable, too! So, not only do I have this tie-waist dress, I also have Land's End French Terry 2-Pocket dress (also a tie-waist dress) in both colors. I've received all sorts of compliments on that dress and I'm betting this dress will yield compliments, too. Mind you, I'm no stick thin, tall, model-type like the girl in the photos; I'm a true size 10 in pants and a size Small (sometimes Extra Small) in most tops. Here's the shocker: I actually ended up buying a size 4 in this dress and it fits perfectly, even around my middle and thighs! If y'all are looking for information about the French Terry dresses, I ended up buying those in a size Extra Small. So, based on other reviews and my own everyday clothing size, I will say that Land's End dress sizing does run large. Hey, I'm not complaining... for those of us girls with a little around the middle, it feels great to wear something that?s a size 4 for a change (even if I?m not really a size 4)!!! Um, this looks like my Grandpa's night shirt. Wow. This actually looks cute on the model. (How many times have I said that over the years?) This is awful...the stripes are so dark and the design makes it look like a bag... The fabric is light and comfortable, however. I feel like the LE Canvas line is sort of "hit or miss" for me...and this is a HUGE miss! September 3, 2012
I think I saw this dress in a women's prison movie... Um, this dress did not work for me. Way too boxy and the big stripes reminded me of prison wear. I was expecting to find a shiv in one of the pockets. Not recommended. June 13, 2012
