Why did I wait?
I watched this top for quite some time before I bought it. Finally with the really great online sales, I purchased it. I am so glad I did. It is so comfortable and versatile. It is modest enough that I can wear it alone or with a cardigan. It actually looks great with my LE denim jacket!. I am often in between sizes. Sometimes I am small and other times medium. (5'6" and 157lbs. ) I carry most of my weight in my lower half, so I ordered this in a small. It was a perfect fit. I had a little room, but not enough to wear an XS and this isn't a top that is meant to be tight fitting. The material breaths well and is very comfortable. I have worn it multiple times, with jeans and my ponte pants. I am sure I will pair it with capris and skirts as well.

too big
I loved this, but it was at least 2 sizes too big, and I ordered a small! Might be OK if you like things really loose, but it was huge.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SWEATER!!!
I have been eyeing this sweater since LE first made it available to buy. But at that time I had just purchased what I considered to be expensive LE winter sweater so the price stopped me from getting it. However, I kept coming back to look. The next thing that stopped me from purchasing this sweater were the reviews. I am happy to say that I took a chance on this one. I absolutely love this sweater!!! I was terrified from all the comments that had been left. I figured the worse that could happen is I had to return it. I am happy to say, it is staying with me. I did, however, take everyone's reviews, to a point, into consideration. I always wear an XS in LE (sometimes XXS if it is available). And I always get the Regular. I'm not a fan of the Petite sizes. But in this case, because of all the comments that had been left, I bought the Petite XS and it fits exactly as it should. This is not a form fitting sweater. And it is not meant to be. It is a loose and slightly baggy type sweater. I tried the sweater on as soon as it arrived and then I washed it. Fits the same as before washing. And I did not find it scratchy in any way. It is actually quite soft. For me, this sweater fits exactly as it does on the model in the picture. When I showed the sweater to my husband (cuz I had been telling him about all the reviews) his reply was, "OH! It's that kind of sweater. Yeah, yeah." I had a sweater similar to this 26 years ago. It's taking me this long to find another one. Thank you very much, LE. I love it! This will look great in the summer and fall with leggings or nice form fitting jeans.

too baggy
I returned this item as the fit was way too big. The arm holes were so low that my bra was visible. The fit of the sweater was baggy that even a smaller size would look too big. I felt sloppy wearing this sweater.

Not worth the price
I bought two of these and returned both. First I bought a small (regular) then a small (petite). The petite fit me well though the shape of this shirt made my hips look big and overall made me shapeless. I found the fabric to be rough and not comfortable at all. I was quite disappointed in this shirt as I really like how it looks in the photo but just didn't work for me.

cute style, nice fabric, bad fit
This is a cute top but after reading previous reviews I sized down one size. However, when I received it I found that I had to size down again and when I received the second one it was still too big so, with regret, I sent them both back. This is a nice top but ridiculously huge. I think someone dropped the ball somewhere along the line. That being said, I would buy this again if it were true to size.

Huge
I am 5'8" 147lbs and usually wear med. sometimes small tops from lands end. But this top was way too big . I ordered a small but had to return it for extra small! The top Is some what loose (not fitted) but a heavier knit so it hangs nicely. I reordered it hoping the smallest size will work (hasn't arrived yet!) I am concerned the extra small might not be long enough. I got my top on sale, I would not have paid regular price for this top, asking WAY too much money. The quality is what I expect from lands end but the sizing is way off, disappointed:( But the reordering process seemed easy and very much appreciate Lands End including return postage with my order as I am 3 hrs from a major center for returns
