Good Vest for Travel
This vest was my warmth layer on an extended trip. It doesn't compress well for packing, but is lightweight and has gained flexibility with wear. Material is a smooth tight woven with a dull sheen (not too shiny), which keeps wind from penetrating. . I usually wear a large. The medium is a bit snug across the bust and fits well at waist and hip.. Zippers work well.

A+
I found this vest toooooo late, but did manage to get the black on sale. It is perfect! Light weight,
but still has the warmth factor. It is longer & a fitted form that is not so bulky. I have worn it with dress
slacks & blue jeans, & got great compliments. Would have loved to get the silver on sale too, but I
was too late, all sold out. Hope to see it next year...

adore it
the fit is perfect; provides warmth without the bulk. the color, fit, needlework make it attractive. the collar lies nice when the zipper isnt zipped all the way.

Perfect fit, length and weight. Easy to dress up or down. Love it!
Excellent quality. Am 5'8" and have a rather small frame. Perfect fit, length and weight. Easy to dress up or down. Love it!

Crimson has strong orange undertone
The vest is beautifully made. And in the 2X in Crimson, the bust area was very large. Similar experience proportionally w the 3X jacket. And the crimson color had a strong orange undertone. Not flattering to my clear tone, 'winter' element complexion. Regretfully returned.

this vest is great color
lovely color of plum; form fitting so if unsure of size try next bigger size; excellent finish work at seams; longer than most vests which adds to hour glass shape; color is great with many different pants color including jeans

Color was way too bright- red red red, very shiney too.
I returned it. It didn't look good on me.

Lightweight and stylish
I'm 5'4", 135lbs (34A x 29 x 39), so my size in Lands' End tops is Regular Extra-Small (or Size 2). I generally find that that sizing in Lands End tops fits me well. But with this vest in that size there is looseness in the armpit and bust area, the waist is loose too but slightly fitted and the hip area fits just right. It seems this would be a good vest for bustier women. The zippered pockets are a nice feature and in the right pocket there is a fabric loop (for keys or a handle for when it is folded up?). The waist has an elastic cord for tightening, but for me that is the one area that fits me well so I have no need for it.
A couple of ways I would improve this vest is to make it more true to size and to use a matte texture fabric for the exterior & collar (versus the shiny polyester). All that being said, I like the vest and am keeping it. I love the styling, the lightness of the piece (warmth without bulk is perfect for Southern California) and the berry color is great and can go well with cool or warm colors. Although I bought this online, I did see it for sale at my local Sears/Lands' End.

Great vest -- makes me look slim!
I bought the black vest and it looks great. I got a large (I normally wear a large or x-large in some items). There is not a lot of extra room in the hips, but it is very slimming when on. It is warm, too. It looks great over a turtleneck and I will probably purchase the boysenberry as well. More colors would be great. Now that they don't offer the stretch fleece vest anymore, this is a nice alternative.

Small sizing
I loved the red vest but it did not fit at all, thus the 4 star. I would have ordered a larger size if I had known. Had to return. (When I checked the next size was not available).
