Lovely warm light weight jacket I love my red jacket for its fit, warmth, and packability. I am taking it to Alaska and can't wait to test it. I know it is great for NW winters. I found it to be true to size but I am thin (PXS). The pockets are also usable. May 28, 2013
Great jacket this jacket was perfect - except the color! It was not attractive- I returned the jacket. I would order again in another color May 28, 2013
The best winter jacket I have owned This is one of the best little jackets I have ever owned. I say "little" because it is like wearing a windbreaker but so warm. I got it last fall and have worn it all winter. Warm even in low teens. And I got compliments every where I went. Some reviewers complained about the sleeves and shoulders being tight and sleeves long. I found it perfect. In fact I always wore fleece tops or layers under and it was plenty roomy enough. I am tall and slim if that makes any difference I don't know. I highly recomment it! I love this jacket! April 27, 2013
Perfect Jacket!! Great fit!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this jacket!!! Replaced my old Dory jacket (chocolate). Perfect weight, perfect fit, perfect lining, (I don't like fleece lining). More colors please!! Navy? Chocolate? Dark Green? Like the zipper, not snaps or buttons. February 8, 2013
love the color and feel but sleeves are cut to small its weird i have an old lands end almost just like this so couldnt wait to get a new one. i put it on to go to work and the arms were so tight and i only had a long sleeve tee shirt on, this would never fit with anything thicker like a thin sweater. something is wrong with the cut of the sleeves, the rest of the coat is fine. too bad its very disappointing. great jacket Got as a Christmas gift and I love it. Good fit - I wear an L in Land's End winter jackets. I've worn it with weather in the 40s usually with a tee and LE fleece vest under, so no issue with sleeves being tight. Just what i wanted... that elusive 'in-between' jacket. Love the boysenberry that i got, and hoped to get one in black, but, alas no L... hope it comes back next season. January 5, 2013
Very packable; runs quite small I'm usually a Lands' End large or medium; I ordered a large to layer underneath, and it was a good thing that the claims about this jacket's warmth (despite its apparent thinness) were true. The fit is quite small, especially in the arms, shoulders, and hips. I'm pear-shaped, and I'm used to ordering different sizes on top and bottom, but the jacket seems to hit exactly at the very widest point of my hips. I've never had this problem with other LE outerwear, so I'm not sure what happened here. Nonetheless, the jacket works, even with few layers underneath. I took it for a trip to Banff in January, and used it for plenty of outdoor activities that required a warm, waterproof outer layer. January 4, 2013
Best Ever!!!!! Seldom do I write a review, but felt I had to tell everyone about this jacket. It is the best jacket I have ever bought. It is really light, but truly warm.Fits true to size. Right now it is 20 degrees outside and I just got back from shopping. Not ever a shiver. I bought it for travelling, but unless I am going to Alaska, I won't need it. My only suggestions are to have more color choices and make the same coat knee length. A true winner. Congratulations Lands End!!!! January 3, 2013
Fits perfectly and the color is awesome! After reading some of the other reviews regarding small shoulders, tight upper arms and long sleeve length, I was hesitant to purchase my regular size (small petite). However, the jacket arrived today and I immediately tried it on with my winter "uniform": a turtleneck and polar fleece. Perfect!! The silver fox color is exactly what I expected (see other reviews). So much classier than the standard black I was going to order at first. Lands' End comes through again!! January 2, 2013
Perfect jacket I had been looking for a light weight, but warm winter jacket, and this fits the bill perfectly. I am 5'3" and wear a 2X, and I can easily wear a light weight T-shirt and sweater under it. I love the silverish color I chose. I have worn it multiple times in Wisconsin's typical December weather (wind, snow, cold) and have been very comfortable. It is easy to wear shopping, or out for walks around the block.
