This is one of the few hood attached scarves out there, and the best I've seen
The quality is excellent and the length is perfect for bundling up in the cold. The hood has plenty of room for those with a lot of hair, but if your hair is shorter you may have to fold the hood to fit your head. My mother is 75 and I bought this for her as a present because we have been looking around everywhere for a scarf with an attached hood and coming up empty. She is very pleased with this one I purchased for her form Land's End and wears it everytime she leaves the house in the winter.

Disappointed with the item.
When I received this item, I had to sew a button on. It was in the bag but not attached at all.

Poor quality
I have been looking for a hooded scarf, and the button-on feature seemed ideal, so I ordered this along with the matching gloves. Unfortunately, this scarf is so thin and unsubstantial, as well as knit with a coarse, scratchy-yarn, that it is not worth keeping, even at a deep discount. The quality of the knit is very poor, and it has the look of a piece that is going to pill and become ratty looking within a few wearings. The idea is great--I just wish it had been orchestrated in higher quality workmanship and materials.

Versatile and great quality
Living in western New York with our snowy and unpredictable winters, this will piece will be a great asset. I can see myself wearing the scarf and taking the hood along separately to button on in case the weather changes and we are hit with lake effect snow. The wool is of good quality - warm and comfortable and not at all itchy.

Thick, bulky, very itchy.
This scarf is a weird length. When you put the hood on and wrap the scarf around your neck the ends hang down your back, but if you pull the ends forward to hang in the front, the ends are too short and it get super bulky. I felt like I couldn't turn my head when wearing the hood. Plus the material is part wool, so it's pretty itchy if you are not used to wool material. I am sending it back as soon as possible.
It'd be good for super cold winter places, where blizzards happen everyday, all day long.

Not Bad
I bought this in the berry and the color is pretty. The hood is a little bigger than it needs to be, but I think it will work well when I don't want to wear the hood to my coat. The fact that the scarf detaches from the hood is what encouraged me to purchase this. The scarf looks nice on its own and its mid-weight. I cut off the popcorn feature because I'm not a big fan of that look. I bought this on sale so i think it was a good bargain.

Love it!
This scarf was a great find for me. Versatile, stylish, warm, beautiful color (berry). Bought it together with matching gloves.
I don't usually like wearing hats in winter because my hair looks flat when I take a hat off. This hooded scarf is a winner. When you put the hood on, you still have some room around your head under it, so my hair is fine.
I also really like that the hood is detachable, adds to versatility.

Not what I expected, but I still like it
I bought this for my mother for a Christmas gift. I ordered the berry color because it was what I thought would look best with her charcol grey pea coat. She has trouble finding hats that are comfortable (they are always too tight) but at the same time needs protection from drafts and wind. When this arrived, I loved the color, but it seemed loose. It won't keep her super warm, but it is a nice easy fit. It's not too heavy and the knit is large. I think it will do the trick in blocking the wind and keeping her comfortable. She will look adorable at the soccer games!

This scarf was not what I expected. It is an unbleached shade of ivory rather than a whiter shade and is not as pretty as shown on the screen.
The scarf is not attractive and it arrived with a dirty spot on it.
Needless to say, I am sending it back.
