I take this hat everywhere in cold weather
Despite my big head and long hair, this hat fits well, is soft and warm, and can easily be fitted into a tote or purse "just in case." It protects the ears well and has a sleek profile.

the colour of this hat is very nice, but it's not that warm and stretches... may be too big already.

My search for the perfect winter hat continues, but this is close.
Today was the first day when it was cold and blustery enough to field-test this hat. I am generally pleased with it. It does a good job keeping my ears warm and mostly stays put (unlike some of this style of hat which have to be pulled down continually). The color is OK (I may order another in a better color), but I wish there were no exterior label. The best feature of the hat is that it is, as advertised, static-free: no fright-wig when I take it off. Bravo on that.

very disappointing color...
I wanted a light colored beanie to run in so to make myself more visible... I ordered the Wool Heather color which appears to be a cream color online. What I got was a dirty cream color with lines of tan running through it; NOT pretty at all. I returned it.

Great hat for errands, walks
Wore this hat outside today while taking a walk with my children (32 degrees out). We were outside for 30 minutes and it kept me toasty warm. I think it'll be perfect for playing outside and running errands, school dropoff etc. Don't know if it would be warm enough for hitting the ski slopes...just an average everyday hat at a great price!

But the gloves were absolutely gigantic. I had to return because I wanted a matching set.

This hat looked wonderful on my 11-year old daughter!
I ordered this hat because it matched the scarf and gloves I selected. Unfortunately, this hat was too small and barely covered my ears. It looked sweet, however, when my preteen daughter tried it on. I ended up returning it and decided to skip a hat.

CUTE LITTLE BEANIE
It is cute, but the tag is on the outside of the hat, and that's a little annoying. It matches perfectly with a jacket that I chose from the same catalog. The colors in the catalog and on line are really accurate.
