Great purchase!!
I love it!! It fits perfect. It feels great! Very comfortable and can be worn for most any occasion. I do believe I will be able to wear this under my long, down filled coat(also a great purchase from Lands' End!)on those really cold Winter days as I work outside(as an Adult Safety at an elementary school).

It does what I expected it to do.
I exchanged the size for a larger one. The original size was okay but I wanted it larger for layering with sweatshirts when I do activities outside.

LOVE IT
I love this parka for many reasons, first it is a little longer then normal for cooler day's during spring for walking the dog. 2nd it goes well under my winter jacket, It is comfortable, fits well, and is soft. many pockets, It is just right for me.
Thank-you LE.

TALL sizing fits perfectly! I now have three of these.

Great jacket but runs small
I was excited to get this jacket but I should have taken the advice of the reviews saying it was too tight. It sure was! Tight all over. The Jacket has'nt much stretch. I can get away with a small in other polartech jackets but not this one although when I put it on it felt Very warm but maybe that's because I felt like a sausage in it. Anyway it went back and I ordered another jacket. I loved the red colour it's very rich.

Perfect Spring and Fall Coat
This coat is a great weight for spring, fall, and even cool summer evenings in the Pacific Northwest. I bought one very similar from Land's End several years ago and wanted to replace it with one like it. (It hadn't really worn out at all, but was starting to look a bit used.) I like this length, because it covers up when I wear longer blouses or my scrub tops. The hood and extra pockets are nice features, and the drawstring waist is flattering. It is warm without being bulky, and just right when you no longer need a heavier coat or parka. It zips well, and the option to unzip the bottom part is nice, although I haven't yet needed it. I usually wear a 1X and the petite XL fits me just fine; however, it would be snug if I wanted to wear a sweater under it, but I don't want to.

parker
fits beautifly. can pull zip up from bottom so you can sit in car or where ever comfortably with out pulling at bottom also adjustable cord around waist and hud.like zipper pockets that is a safty issue you can put your car keys, credit card, gloves & zip up and one zipper pocket left upper arm. keeps the chill off. i would recommend to any one.

This jacket has no collar. The hood was built in place of the collar
The quality of the jacket is what I was looking for. I bought a gray one two years ago and wore it out. So I bought a second. What I discovered was it had no collar. I should have noticed from the photo. The hood was built in place of the collar. So unless I wear the hood up and look like a gangster I feel a chill down my neck. It is no good for golf or walking the dog.

Love it as always
This is my fourth jacket like this. I have always really liked them. The weight is nice because I don't get too hot when I am in a store.
I was disappointed to find that this one seems like a lighter weight than my others. It makes me sad to see Lands End cutting quality little by little. In fact, I wanted to order this over the phone, and I was on hold so long that I finally gave up. Years ago, you never waited to speak with a representative.
Two things that I think would make this a better product: a lining in the sleeves would make it much easier to pull on and off, and removing the two new labels that they have added. One is a tacky looking label at the bottom that says polartec. Who cares if it's polartec? And since I am a teacher, I can pull off wearing this to school with khakis. But now, the label looks unprofessional. They have also added a new strip around the collar advertising Lands End. Makes it look cheap.
