Is it hand knit? No, but the pointelle needlework in this hat is so nicely done you'd think it was. Good looks aside, you'll be pleased to know it's soft and warm too, thanks to the blended yarn we use. Dry clean or hand wash. Imported.

Warm, Soft & Cute!
I was really pleased with this touque when I received it! It is very soft and big enough to come down around your ears to keep warm. On top of the soft-ness and functionality...it is cute!
3 great things in one! How can you go wrong? I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Beautiful set, lovely color!
I purchased the scarf, gloves and hat.
The hat looks nice, but if you have a small head the top looks a bit pointed. You can't fold it over or you will see the inside, which looks like it is inside out rather than the reverse side, like the scarf.
The gloves are very pretty, but I found after wearing them once, they began to get misshapen. I would recommend taking them off if you have to do a lot with your hands, so they do not get stretched out. They are on the thin side as others have stated, but these gloves are really for a "dressed up" look, which they do nicely. Perfect for Santa Barbara, California!
The scarf is quite wide and long. You can almost use it as a shawl. The pattern is beautiful and the plain side complements the front nicely.
There are drawbacks that warrant the 4 ships. The yarn leaves a lot of lint, therefore can't be worn with anything black. Even a lint remover does not get all of the lint. The second is, that the yarn has an odd smell. I am sure it is part of the natural materials.. It may air out over time, but if you are very sensitive it may be hard to tolerate.
Don't get me wrong, the set is lovely and color beautiful. If it is used as special occasion set and dry cleaned, it will be a nice addition to anyone's winter clothing collection.

Clean cut and simple hat
Nice but not spectacular. Great for popping on for a walk or doing errands as it is warm without being bulky or heavy.
