Women's Plus Size Woven Sequined V-neck Dress 1.8 5 8 8
So Depressing. This dress is beautiful... BUT it did not fit well at all :( I ordered a 14. bottom fit fine. The top was the problem. I have a large chest. DDD the top did not close. it is not how the picture appears. the top is not sewn together. it pulled apart. I would need a cami underneath and that would just look tacky. If you have an average bust it may work for you. It is a bit short. I am 5'5 and the length was pushing it! May 20, 2013
Cocktail length dress I was very disappointed in this dress. It barely covered my behind as it was super short. The material was very pretty and could have really had possibilities, but it is made for someone who is probably well under 5'2". The top also gaped as others mentioned but I had a hard time worrying about that when it looked like a super short cocktail dress for a teenager. December 28, 2012
Not as pictured The dress isn't quite what's pictured. What the model is wearing looks like it has a camisole under the blouse however it isn't built into the dress. I have a larger bust size and the blouse is cut in such a way that it exposes quite a bit of my chest. It will necessitate putting in a tack where the blouse overlaps. Also, the skirt fabric is not as dark as the blouse fabric. In fact, the boucle-like fabric looked faded on my skirt, like it had been overexposed to light. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is shorter than advertised. I'm 5' 4" and this hits above my knee. I'll wear it to the wedding this weekend, but it's not what I was expecting and I feel like LE could have done better to show what you would be getting in the online photos. December 5, 2012
Not at all like the photo This dress is so lowcut in the bodice that it is not wearable! The lower band of my bra is visible. Even my seamstress could not fix this without ruining the dress. Back it goes! Too bad because the fabric and general look is lovely. December 3, 2012
Inappropriately revealing so will need a tailor I bought this dress for an event but couldn't wear it. It fit well everywhere but the top is so low cut that I couldn't wear it. The v-neck goes all the way down to my rib cage! I am returning it. November 26, 2012
looked better on model The dress was too short, the material not as nice as it looked. The whole cut was too skimpy from the middle down. It just did not work for me. November 24, 2012
not as advertised in photo I was so looking forward to this dress, which, from the photo, appeared to have everything I was looking for in a plus-sized dress: covered shoulders, knee-length skirt and style. Don't get me wrong, it is a gorgeous dress. But when I put it on my 5'6" frame, it was much shorter than pictured on the model and came with a much lower plunging neckline. That said, the fabric is gorgeous, and the cut through the middle flatters the plus-sized figure. November 16, 2012
False Advertising It is quite disappointing that Lands End would describe an article of clothing as "silk" when in fact there is not an ounce of silk in the product fiber make-up. So either the fiber content listed (72% polyester/24% rayon/4% spandex.) is incorrect, or the item description is a lie. This does not make me confident as a consumer of mail order products, when there seems to be a glaring accuracy problem. November 6, 2012
