We went to Italy's master weavers to find this luxurious wool blend fabric. It's crafted for extra softness and smooth drape. We tailor it in a classic duffle style complete with a cozy hood, toggle buttons, and generous pockets. Solid: 68% wool/20% nylon/12% recycled cashmere. Dry clean. Woven in Italy of imported yarn.

This looks and feels very classy.
There is plenty of room for a sweater under it. I was expecting a thicker lining, or a quilted one as I had in a previous duffel from Land's End.
The fabric is beautiful but I doubt it will hold up as long as the previous one.
A lovely coat but not one to pop on to go to the grocery store. Very good value for the price.

nice fabric but...
I liked the look of this coat ( I got it in the orange-red color) and the fabric was very soft. I was also happy to see that the material of the toggle anchors was actually leather. This coat fit fairly well and looked nice too (18W - seems accurately sized). HOWEVER, the side pockets were set in such an awkward place...they were so far down that it was uncomfortable to try to put my hands in them. If anyone has arms long enough to reach the pockets, the sleeves would surely be too short as they were just right on me. The coat was also slightly tight across the shoulders but I might have been able to deal with that if the side pockets hadn't been so badly placed. Had to return it.

Best coat I've ever owned
I simply love every aspect of this coat! It fits true to size, like it was taylored just for me, plus it's very styleish. I don't think the coat is heavy at all, and I'm a light coat person. The length is perfect for all occasions including driving. It holds up in the cold (at least -15 wind chill) very well too. Did I mention the deep pockets? Best priced coat I've seen in years for the quality! Matter of fact I'm thinking of buying another one in a different color.

Not your everyday peacoat
Love this jacket! Love the color (the green)! Love the toggles! An awesome length for a dressier jacket. I'm a decent size girl (14 pant, 40dd, XL or 1X shirt), and the 18w fits perfectly (the 16w was not available at the time). I like my sleeves long and wouldn't mind these if they were even a hair longer. The 14w sorta fit, but more like a compression shirt. I also own and love the Women's Regular Down Chalet Long Coat in an XL, a very similar fit to this jacket but a bit warmer. On the other hand, I had tried on the Women's Luxe Wool Scoopneck Coat in the store and drowned in an 18w.

Style + Functionality = EXCELLENT VALUE
Best coat I've owned in years! Fits perfectly, the fabric is soft and luxurious, pockets galore, a hood, and a neck protector! The length is perfect for commuting. The coat is lightweight, yet warm as toast!

well made, pretty color, good fit.
I returned this coat because the coat is too heavy. I prefer a lighter weight coat. If the heavy coat is not a problem, go for it. It definitely is made well.

Love this warm and pretty coat
I'm very happy with this coat. I bought it in green, and I love the color. The coat is very warm and well made. I've received compliments on it each time I wear it. It fits well, and I really like the zipper closing in addition to the toggles. The zipper keeps it closed tightly to help make it warmer. I also like the longer length as it is warmer than a shorter pea coat.

Love it!
I love it and am getting tons of compliments! The color is a lovely lively tomato red which is a nice change from the standard blue-red of most red garments. It doesn't look like a trendy color at all, but a color that will age nicely. I wear a 20W top and a 22W skirt so ordered the 22W since it's a longer coat and it fits perfectly! It's tailored so the seaming makes it fit nicely and not dumpy. I am 5'-5" tall and the length is almost to my knees - longer than expected and nice! I have room for a light sweater easily. The sleeve length is perfect on me which may mean they are a touch short since typically sleeves are usually a bit long on me. For, me though, it works. With all the toggles done and the hood up it is adorable! I have almost no neck and it is no problem at all - my chin doesn't feel crowded. It's just adorable and professional at the same time. I have the requisite long black coat, but this will be my new "go to" for everyday. Love it!!

The fit is excellent with a little room for a sweater if needed and the material is soft and warm. I thought the overall quality was excellent!
The quality is better than I expected and the fit is excellent.There is even room for a sweater if you are colder than average. I like that it has a hood which I have already had occasion to use. I like that it has a zipper and toggle buckles which makes it warmer. I have already worn it when it was very cold and windy and I was warm and toasty! I just wish I was able to get it in a different color than red, green or tan...I ordered the green and actually like the color very much. I am hoping to get many years use out of this coat. I would recommend this product highly!

Mixed feelings
I'm quite tall (over 6'), so I was very happy with the length (though the sleeves could have been a bit longer) and material. But I haven't worn this jacket much at all and really should have returned it. It's not for those who are more pear shaped AT ALL-- while loose in the shoulders, I find it tight across the hips despite ordering a size larger than my usual Lands' End skirt and pant size. The problem is exacerbated by the long, one-way zipper-- it's roughly down to mid-thigh, which doesn't allow much mobility and, frankly, it's not flattering at all on this style of jacket. Like I said, I really should have returned it and not wasted my money.
