Nice coat! But caution on sizing! Nice wool coat - very soft and I like it. I ordered my normal size but it was VERY tight. I returned it for a size up (16W) which fits well but does not leave a lot of room for layers. As this is a ' dressy' coat, I did not think that would be an issue so I am keeping it. Lovely fabric, awkward fit I agree with the other reviewer that it is a bulky fit. It does look nicer when left unbuttoned...but then what's the point? I have long arms and with the cuffs down it was a good fit in the arms. It is a lovely color of red, but the cut is just too unflattering for me to keep. December 2, 2012
Styling doesn't work for me I loved the feel of the wool, but the front styling was unflattering; too snug in front. Seems to work against the nice full raglan sleeves . Also the belt in the back ruined the line of the raglan looseness. In short, I wanted a raglan loose style, but the tight front and belt in the back made the styling unflattering on me. Beautiful wool coat The wool is very luxurious. I like the styling very much and for a change the sleeves don't come down over my hands. I would have liked it to be a little roomier since I often wear blazers under my coat, however, a size larger would have been to large everywhere else. All in all a very nice coat for dress. Agree with other reviewer Great fabric. Nice detailing. But I hate the cut. Too boxy and frumpy. I was willing to live with it but now I see a new addition to the catalog, a swing car coat of the same fabric which looks much more flattering. So I now feel i have to buy that too. If I had not removed the labels from the first coat, i would have returned it. September 26, 2012
Cut is too boxy and frumpy The material feels wonderful, very warm and beautifully made, but the cut is way too frumpy and matronly. Also don't know why they decided to have the sleeves slashed with a V that you can't close or secure! September 23, 2012
