Lovely cut, well made skirt
I love this skirt! It does run big - I usually an a 10-12 in lands end and I got it in an 8 (and even an 8 is a little big). But the material is not too heavy, the skirt is lined and it falls right to my knee (I am 5'8"). Looks great with boots.

softly feminine
The first thing I noticed about this plaid skirt is that the pattern matches front to back which is a sign of a good quality garment. The fabric is wonderful, very soft, not stiff or itchy. It does run large. I read the other reviews before purchasing mine and ordered a size down and it fits great. Looking forward to wearing it, I only wish it were washable.

This skirt fits really weird...
I like the color combination of this skirt and love the clearance price but the hips were way out of proportion too big for the size.

Runs big.
I ordered the size I usually wear, and it was too big. The next smaller size fits nicely, and looks good with a sweater and boots. Good quality fabric. I got lots of compliments at work.

Very Nice but Too Big
Yes, I read the reviews, but decided to chance it because I'd rather have a little too big than a little too small. I should return it, but not sure it's worth doing since I got the skirt on sale with a coupon.
Otherwise, the skirt is great. It's lined, medium weight fabric, and cut nicely. The colors in the skirt will allow it t be worn with lots of different things. Another win!

Good length
After reading all the reviews, I ordered a size 8 petite. I usually don't wear an 8. I am 5"4, 148 pounds and a medium build. I was quite pleased that it fit well. I like the length, comes just below the knee. The zipper on the side seems to puff out a bit.

A nice basic skirt!
I agree with others that it fits a little big but I'm glad it does(stokes my ego and I'm glad I can wear it a little lower, on the hips, to get a little more length out of it). The fabric is fine, wrinkles steamed right out when I took it out of the box. The crinkly zipper issue that others indicated doesn't seem to be a big deal with me, perhaps due to wearing the skirt at my hips rather than my waist or due to my shape. Terrific price!

Good skirt. Worth the sale price!
This skirt really does run big! A whole size. But, it's a nice fabric. I like the cut. and once I have it altered (easier than shipping it back. besides, nearly everything I own has to be altered!) it will be perfect. Worth the sale price hands, down. If I paid full price for this, I probably would have looked for the material to be a little higher quality. But at this price point, I feel like I got a GREAT DEAL

Perfect skirt
I love this skirt. The flare of the skirt is perfect, and the weight is great for fall and winter. I usually order a 12 and got this in a 10. The length in petite was just right.

cute skirt if the zipper was sewn right
the entire side seam with the zipper has been sewn wrong so you can not wear it, even with a long sweater. Due to the puckering and gathering there it makes you look like you have a third hip. Really lousy quality for this garment. Evidently you can not count on Land's End for quality garments any longer
