Women's Plus Size Stretch Chino Skirt 2.3 5 3 3
Wrinkles This is way too big & looks like it fell out of the hamper. Going back because I don't like wrinkly clothes & expect better from Lands End. May 29, 2013
Poorly constrcted, especially the waistband. Fabric wrinkles badly. I usually take a regular 14 skirt, but ordered the plus size since it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure I'll keep it. The way the waistband is worked is very lumpy, with too many layers of fabric sewn together. It's large in the waist for me. The side elastic inserts make make matters worse as they cause the skirt to bunch up and pucker over the hips and rear. Two pockets in the back are large, making it impossible to alter the skirt using center back seam without removing them, as they would be too close together. With the bunching caused by the side elastic, it feels like padding. I'm not sure it's worth the cost extensive alterations, as the fabric wrinkles badly when I sit. I wish manufacturers would stop relying on spandex and elastic to make things fit and try cutting & tailoring. Overall, not a good value for the money. April 27, 2013
24" is not 25" Over the years, this skirt (in all of its many conservative colors) has been my wardrobe staple. It is perfect for corporate casual days and weekend outings. It travels well and requires little ironing. The cut, even with side pockets, is quite flattering. The fabrIc and color last forever. I opted to add a happy yellow color to my collection and loved the color: It's more lemon than it appeared on my monitor...a perfect color to welcome Spring. However, when I was seated, its 24" length became apparent and was deemed unacceptable. I had assumed (yes, I know) it would be the same length as the others. My mistake: the other skirts are 25". It is being returned. So the caveat is reflected in the title. Otherwise, I would have given this skirt an "Excellent" rating. February 23, 2013
