It's only worth it if you get it on sale
I purchased this cover up dress last summer in black and it was so nice. Beautiful quality jersey material, fit like a dress and looked and felt great. I actually wore it as a dress a few times and it was thick enough that you didn't need anything else underneath. So I ordered another one this summer in a different color. I was so disappointed when it arrived because the material is so much thinner and cheaper feeling then the first one I bought. It's a turquoise blue and very see through, it really is only good for a cover up. I didn't return it because I live in Canada, so it would end up costing me money. I would only recommend this as a cover up and if you can get a 40% off sale.

Absolutely not the quality or style I've come to expect from Land's End
As a long time customer, I have to say that the quality and design has greatly diminished as compared to cover-ups of past years. The fabric of this year's line of cover-up is very flimsy, and the neckline is poorly crafted...almost looks wrinkled and sloppy. Several years ago you carried a great and very versatile Henley - button type sleeveless tank cover-up made with a more substantial fabric. After that, you came out with another sleeveless cover-up with a slightly shirred, neat, neckline and pockets. These cover-ups looked great. They were stylish, comfortable, casual, and well made. They could be worn to run errands, attend a BBQ, go to the beach, and were city worthy. That is NOT the case with this year's version. The fabric is extremely thin.....almost to the point of being sheer. Certainly something I could not wear outside my pool area. Land's End... bring back the quality products we've come to know you by. I've been shopping Land's End for about (15) years and still have those wonderful cotton twill shorts you made back then....

Good fit and style. Disappointing fabric.
I liked the fit and style, but the fabric was incredibly thin. Just not worth the price. I returned it.

Soft, lightweight and cute!
This is the ideal summer swim cover-up! It's soft, lightweight, easy on/off, comfortable, and dries quickly. It's sized generously (I ordered one size up, but didn't really need to), the pockets are deep enough to be useful without adding bulk or being obtrusive, and it dries quickly. Perfect for wear in hot weather!
I love this season's color selection, and have already ordered a second one. This coverup could easily double as a summer nightgown, so I may order a third one with that use in mind.
I like everything about this coverup--it really deserves the 5-star rating!

Not as nice as the old version
Two years ago I bought one of these cover-ups and I loved it so much I bought another one in another color. I've worn them as cover-ups and also as tunics as well as dresses. So....this year I thought I'd add another one in another color. I was disappointed the exact same cover-up wasn't available but figured this had to be close. It's not even. The material is soooo much thinner. I don't feel I could wear this version as a tunic or dress. It'll be okay as a cover-up. Maybe even better as a nightgown.

Perfect Cover-Up
I got a white one last year and it is a wonderful cover-up. I cruise at least once a year sometimes twice a year. It is comfortable and lightweitght. The pcokets are deep enough to hold room key. Plus it doesn't take up much room in suitcase.
I have already ordered a blue one for this year so I will have 2 when I travel.

Light-weight and loving it!
I love it, I'm back to order more. I can't believe the other two reviews! I don't usually write reviews but after reading the others I had too. This is a SUMMER cover-up, meaning to be worn in the hot summer. Which for me means the thinner the fabric and more light weight the better. I have already washed and dried the one I have and it kept it's shape; unlike some light-weight fabrics. What I do like about this cover up is it doesn't hang real low under the arms to the point where you have to have something on under it. When I get out of the shower, I'm usually hot and want to put something on light weight while I do my make up and hair. This is perfect for that. I'm ordering more colors because I know I will be wearing these around the house and over my suits this summer a lot. Thanks Lands End!

Poor Quality
Wore last year's model all summer and they were wonderful! This year's "new" version doesn't even come close.....fabric way too thin - thinner than tee shirt fabric! The round neckline is not as wearable as the v-neck....gaps open. I washed one - it shrank 2 inches in length as well as overall shrinkage.
LE....... why are you continuing to produce inferior products in this item as well as many other items? These aren't improvements, they are decreases in quality. I will soon stop purchasing from LE because they can no longer be counted on for their previous excellent quality.
In order to review this product you must select how the product fits, I chose big because I ordered 2 sizes larger than I needed so that with shrinkage it would be the size I needed.

Poor quality of fabric
I was shocked when I opened the package on my order. The fabric is terrible. Thin, wrinkles and poorly constructed. Quality control really missed on this item.
