Looks Great on a Petite Plus Gal !
I am a petite plus customer, but I bought this dress because regular height customers complained the dress was too short on them. The dress is a generous cut, so I bought a 1X. The length is perfect for
a 5'2 person. I bought black and the rich deep purple. If you are petite plus, you will love this dress!

Just ok.
This dress looked really good in the photo but the waist was weird and the length was waaay too short (I'm 5'8") for my taste, especially since I purchased it for work. I bought the red, which was really bright. If I had purchased a darker color, I could get away with some tights for a clean straight look, but what color tights does one wear with a screaming red dress that hangs all over you? Not many colors will do. Overall, this dress is just ok. I will say this, it appears that LE's lengths are getting shorter and shorter.

Looks good in the picture
I loved the way this dress looked on the LE website, and decided to take a chance on ordering it , even with the mixed reviews. I am medium tall (5'8") and full-sized (18W). The red was a great color, but the waist was way too big, and could not be adjusted, and the hemline came above my knees, a length I am not comfortable with at 57. I had to send it back. I hope a new version will come out addressing these issues.

LOVE this dress!!
I love, love, love this dress! I ordered it in Deep Grape which is a gorgeous deep plum shade. It fits well, with NO gappage at the cleavage, and the twisted belt is in just the right spot to flatter. The skirt drapes beautifully and camouflages my waistline. The length is perfect (I am 5'8" and it hits just below my knees). I tried this dress on, asked my husband what he thought, and his response was: WOW!
So this one's a keeper! I love it so much that I just ordered it in black, navy and deep green. Lands' End, I agree ... you have found the perfect fabric for dresses!

A staple, but not the most flattering
This dress is quite cute. It's versatile and modest, and has a classic silhouette. The cons are a few, however. The "belt" is not removable, and adds a substantial amount of fabric around the waist, taking a lot away from that cinched waist look that one goes for in a wrap style dress like this. That's the main problem for me. The second other somewhat minor detail is that the top wrap layer over the bust leans out when you sit down, revealing a bit too much breast. However one could easily stitch it down or use double sided tape; it's just that that should have been done before hand. Other than those things, I really like this dress. It's a great staple.

ABOVE the knee... really
I bought this in black, and it is the perfect little black dress... except for the hem line. Now, it might just be that I'm over 40 and plus-sized... but I really don't want my dresses hemmed for the office ABOVE THE KNEE, which seems to be the standard at Lands' End lately. It can always be shortened to taste, but the rest of us cannot add length. Please consider returning to your below the knee default hem.

Go to dress!
I received this dress and fell in love with it immediately. The twist waist is high on my bodice since I am 5?9 with a bust of 36 DD the dress is very flattering. I received numerous compliments on the fit of the red one. I came back to order two more colors due to the great fit and comfort this will be a go to dress.

waist too big
I loved the way this dress fit me EXCEPT the 'waist detail' is way too loose. I went to Sears to try on a smaller size, and the back of the waist 'band' still sagged. I am tempted, like another reviewer, to have it altered, but just not sure yet.
The design is excellent, it was the execution that fell short.

plus size fit is a bit strange
I'm definitely a pear-shaped plus size, so I decided on this style to accentuate my positives. It does seem to be made for more of an apple-shaped plus size. I love the fabric and the overall design. It does fit me very well and drapes beautifully, except for the band which is much too loose. Because I love the dress, I will be having it altered and have it taken in at the band two or three inches. I am tall (5'10") so the band gives more of an empire waist effect than as shown on the regular model, where it falls at the waist. This would be a very cute dress as is for a busty, apple-shaped plus size. I am a 38DD so I'm not exactly flat-chested, but the 2X gaps on me (and it looks like the plus-size model had the same problem, the cleavage looks pinned). With the band taken in it will fit me perfectly.
