Great Fall, Winter or Spring Sweater
Nice and roomy. I bought a 3X. I like that it is 100% cotton and hangs to lower hip. Heavier than I thought it would be. I won't be able to wear in summer air conditioned offices. Got on sale so I will keep it and purchase a lighter sweater.

Started out ok, but downhill after washing
When I first got this sweater, I loved it. The color (chocolate brown) was a nice shade and I liked the matching buttons. The fit was good - - I typically am too tall for regulars and a bit too short for talls. My height is 5'8". The weave was nice - - not too thin, not too bulky. After washing, however, the sweater shrank considerably in length and the fibers began to show wear. This was after ONE gentle washing. I am so disappointed in the slipping quality of Lands' End. The yarn used in this sweater should have been a better grade for the price I paid. The style, size, color, buttons, scale, weave, etc was done right. The lower grade materials, however, made this a so-so, overpriced product.

Great sweater
I love the classic style of this sweater. It is hard to find cotton sweaters and this is a great medium weight, not too heavy for indoors. I like the longer length. I bought the gray and liked it so well that I order another in ivory. The weight and style can be dressed up or down and worn year around. Please don't stop making cotton sweaters without spandex.

Good Sweater For Tall Ladies
I was a little hesitant to buy this based on the mixed reviews, but decided to try it because of a good sale price. I am 5'9 and vary between regular 14-16, and women's 14-16. For me, the 0X worked well - the long sleeves and mid-hip length are just right. For women who are shorter, I do see how the other reviewers could describe it as too long and big. I have not washed this sweater, yet, and cannot comment on how it holds up after washing.

My mom loves this sweater
I bought this sweater for my mother online because we live in Florida and at times we just need a lightweight jacket or sweater. My mom is in the plus sizes and I have looked at so many sweaters for Christmas for her and I finally found this one and I knew it was the one. She likes her sweaters a little long but it wasnt too long since my mom is only 5"2' and it was so soft. My mom cant wait to wear it especially since we have a cold spell coming in today and will definitely wear it to church. Anyway i definitely would recommend this sweater......esp if my mom likes it since she is really picky......lol.

Sweater way too long in overall length and sleeve length
Color is very pretty but the sizing was awful. I'm accustomed to buying the cotton sweater sets. They fit well, but this particular sweater must have been made for someone 6ft. tall with arms like an orangatan!
Needless to say, it must be returned.
