Better than expected!
I was pleasantly surprised with the shorts. I did try them on in the store and LOVED them. Glad I did because I thought they looked too "old ladyish" online and on the hanger. I bought them in tan and navy. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. They are my "go to" shorts this summer.

All in all favorable
I was looking for a short that was longer in the leg and more fitted than the ones I currently have and saw these on sale. The fit seems to be pretty large for the size that I usually order, but I was able to deal with it. I'm actually hoping that they might shrink up a bit. All in all, I like the style and hope that it's still available next year when I can buy a smaller size.

Great Shorts
These are absolutely the best shorts - especially for women who prefer a longer length. I am a tall senior (5' 10") and wide in the hip area and they fit me perfectly. Please keep making these shorts. The material is great, except for the linen which stretches as you wear them so you will need order a smaller size.

Great summer staple
Fit 3 rocks. It is so wonderful to be able to buy tailored slacks and shorts that fit. And the longer length is so great for those of us nearing senior-citizen status. These shorts are stylish and durable with a great fit.

The best of both worlds!
I love these shorts. They are a cross between shorts and capris and so go many more places than either. I just wish there was a bigger color choice.

I thought a 12" inseam on short pants would feel too long but I like it very much.

comfortable shorts
These shorts fit well and are just the right length. They wash well and do not wrinkle. They are very comfortable to wear.

a nice, basic longer legged short
I was hoping these shorts would be a little longer in the leg than pictured on line, and they were, on me at least! I'm 5' 4", and the longer length of the shorts on me are perfect! Great for work with a shell, light cardigan and cute sandals. Just wish they had them in black..... ;-)

IShorts fell below my knees. Returned them
I have been so very disappointed with Lands End. I LOVE the clothes but find that I am spending time returning them to the store because they are not made to the specification of Lands End. They usually need to be shortened, Land's End has offered this service free, but wouldn't it be easier to insist that they be made as specified? The Womans plus department has shrunk beyond caring.. Please do something.
