Fabulous shorts!
I love the 12inch/fit 3 shorts! I bought 4 pair of white and one blue denim. I want more blue denim. Also, why would you discontinue the tan? Tan is the universal color that everyone wears! E-mail when you get in more of the Blue and I want tan ones too! The pockets are so nice and deep that they will hold 5 golf balls!

dont feel comfortable
I don't like the fit. Waist fit is ok but thru hips & thighs is baggy. Fabric is very light weight & while not see thru because I bought Navy, is very flimsy. Didnt shrink when washed but didnt keep their appearance either. WIll have to iron them to get that back.

Comfortable and nice looking..but you need to have LONG legs
Fabric is wonderful. Cool, washes well, feels great. The cut is a teensy bit larger than I'd expected, but I'm ok with it. I HATE tight pants. I never tuck in a shirt, so that's ok, too, but if you do the elastic will not be hidden, so be aware.
Now, all that said, these are LONG. I measured the 12 inches on my inseam and these shorts fit precisely where my tape measure said they should. I have a 32 inch inseam and they hit me just at the top of my knee cap or ever so slightly below. I wanted shorts that were this long on purpose and they fit the bill VERY WELL. I was saddened that when I got them and went to order more, they were out of my size. <sad face>
I think if people would take the time to read the inseam length and measure it on themselves, they'd not be as critical of the length. The only thing I can say as a critique is that they do seem to run a teeny bit big, but again.....that was perfectly fine with me!!
Wish LE would make more things in Fit 3. I'm not a teeny bopper nor a Barbie doll, and I would order far more from them if they'd make more things in Fit 3 styles. They're far better for us older folk. PLEASE, LE, bring back more Fit 3 styles.

Loved the color, but not the fit.
I wound up returning this. Color is what made me choose it in the first place, but did not like the fit--too big & too long. Did love the color! Would love to see this color (and other new ones) in the 7-day traditional pants & shorts. PLEASE add new colors. Once I buy the pants & shorts in your same old colors, I have no other choices & therefore, don't buy more.

Color was as expected.
They were the right color. I misjudged the inseam length. 12 inch is too long for me, they were capris instead of shorts. Just longer than I wanted so I returned them.

Lovely linen
The color of the blue shorts I ordered is divine and almost denim-neutral. What a nice sheen, hand, and drape these shorts have! Comfy-cozy, yet can be dressed up easily; they're quickly becoming my favorite shorts.
