We went to Italy's master weavers to find this luxurious wool blend fabric. It's crafted for extra softness and smooth drape. We tailor it in a fashionable swing style you'll want to wear whenever possible. The sleeves are designed for easy-moving comfort and extra room through the shoulders. 68% wool/20% nylon/12% recycled cashmere. Fully lined in polyester. Dry clean. Woven in Italy of imported yarn.

This coat is fabulous!
I love this coat! It is warm without being bulky, a great color, and is perfect for cool, spring days. The fur collar comes off easily and easily reattaches. It has a look of glamour and I've received many compliments on it. It was a great price at the season's end.

Great fitting wool coat
I just love this coat. I got it in Winter white. The drawstring around the waist help seal in the warmth. I love the full length metal zipper. I also love the brown and black fur on the hood, so that, I can wear my brown or black fall or cold weather boots with it. The flap and buttons help dress it up as well. I can wear it out to casual or dressy outings. I've read A lot of the other reviews about this coat and saw that it was available in other colors as well ( black, charcoal, and red). I'd like to see them become available again, I'd buy another one in A different color. I'm so happy that I bought this coat. Thanks Lands End.

Excellent coat.
I just received this coat in the dark charcoal heather, which is a fantastic alternative to the closet full of black coats that I have, and I'm very pleased. Its a great look and fit. I'm a 24 and this coat fits perfectly. I have an hourglass shape and up top I'm more of an 18-20 across the shoulders and in the arms with a larger bust, however, my hips and rear are definitely a 24. I'm used to the roomier fit in the arms so I was fine with the coat. The wool is VERY high quality, its thick and really warm. I'm 5'6" and the coat hit me a little higher than it appears on the model but that happens with a larger bust. The best part, for me, is the drawstring in the coat which can be adjusted to give the coat a closer fit in the waist. Also, if you're an LE regular you know that all of their coats do not come in single sizes and usually are available in 1X, 2X etc, which translate to 18-20, 22-24 and that's not the best for everyone. Sometimes you really need YOUR single size. This was perfect. This coat has a very high end look and is more polished than other winter coats offered. I still have my down parkas, I live in MN, but this coat is really a nice change and at the sale price you really can't beat it.

Nice Coat, great price
I love the coat! Its a bit big, but I ordered a large size to be sure I could wear it over sweaters in our cold winters so I'm fine with that. Its very nice quality, and I especially love the zipper that can be unzipped from top or bottom! This is the nicest coat I've had in some time, very happy with it!

Fits true to size, great look
Love the look of this coat very flattering cut, I wear size 20. Fits true to size, but not much extra room especially at the bust, don't be tempted to go a size down if they don't have your size. It's warm, but you will need another layer, sweater or fleece, for really cold days if you are going to be outside for a while. Over all, love it, great that it can be worn in warmer temps without the extra layer and that the drawstring waist is adjustable so you can add a layer when you need it.

Hated to send it back
I actually tried 2 different sizes before giving up. The wool on this coat is soft and luxe. I purchased the Blackberry which was a gorgeous eggplant type color. I agree with other comments that the sleeves were too long, but I was willing to look past that. Unfortunately the coat just didn't hang right. One size was too small, the next too big. The top of it seems to be a little too big for the bottom. It is worth a try though, because if it fits you, you will love it.

The coat fits as expected. I can wear winter sweaters under it and brave the cold winter mornings in style and warmth.

nice coat
When i first received the coat i loved the color and feel of it..its very warm..but a little snug..i bought a size up figuring ill wear sweaters under it and since LONG ISLAND WINTERS ARE COLD... the only thing im not crazy about the hood it wasn't made right...too big and it falls on your face...other than that love it!!!

Very pleased!
I am very happy with this coat, I especially like the drawstring at the waist to keep the look of it more feminine. I normally take a 1x to 2x and decided to go with the 18, and it just fits nicely - if I lose more weight it'll look even better, and I can cinch it at the waist even more. Sleeve length is perfect for me (I am 5'7"). I especially appreciate that there is enough room in the upper arms, which is usually a big issue for me. I didn't like the fake fur collar but it was a simple thing to zip it off (though I do find the hood somewhat shallow without it, but I prefer that to the hood being too big). I have the coat in the charcoal, and love this colour. Also, it's been a long time since I have owned a wool coat, and this one is surprisingly warm and cuts the wind well, I think it will be warm enough in all but the very bitterest cold in the dead of winter. The zipper is a little tricky to get started, but I think that is because it is a two-way zipper (and it's another great feature to be able to unzip the coat from the bottom somewhat when you need to sit to drive in the coat or whatever) so it takes practice and patience to get the hang of it, the zipper is doing its job basically. One last thing, I got this coat on sale (half price) and another 30% off promo order so it was a great deal... All In all, I'm very pleased with this purchase...
