I ordered this dress in 18W, the size I usually order from Lands End. When I took it out of the packaging it looked great, I loved the style and fabric. Unfortunately when I tried it on it showed every lump, even when worn with a slip. The brand new dress went to charity today as the cost of postage to return it from Australia is more than the frock cost. I was disappointed, it's a terrific dress but it just didn't suit my body type. Regardless of the fit for me I still think its a nice dress if you can wear clingy fabrics.

A Delightful Surprise
At first glance this dress looked....dumpy, too big. But when I tried it on, it fit wonderfully and draped just right. The plum color is beautiful and the material is perfect for most seasons and substantial enough to not show figure flaws. Great dress!

Finally "the little black dress"
I have been looking for "the little black dress" that everyone is suppose to have. Being a plus sized women this has been a difficult task, After many years of looking I have finally found "the one". It has short sleeves and is lined with a great fabric that doesn't cling. It has a great drape to the fabric and is very comfortable well. Thank you Land's End.

A keeper
Ponte is my new favorite fabric and I am very glad that Lands End has wide variety to choose from. I ordered this dress in black along two other ponte dresses, all in my usual 1X. This one fit true to size, but the other two were too large and had to be exchanged for a regular XL. I'm guessing that since this is a plus size exclusive, the sizing is more conventional. The design is very flattering and work appropriate, but it could also be dressed up for a night out.
