I will keep trying
I really wanted to like these pants. The fabric is light weight and great for summer, but the fit is poor. The leg is wide, but the fit through the hip and thigh is tight. I am looking for a nice, linen or other light weight fabric wide leg (including through the thigh) pant. Drawstring waist is fine, but no flaps on the back pockets, would be great. In fact, if the women's cotton linen pants that Lands End carries were available in plus sizes, that would be perfect! I hope Lands End will try again with this fabric. I will keep looking. I love that Lands End hems pants to order, so I will keep checking back in the hopes that will happen.

Poor fit and quality
The fit on these pants is sadly disappointing, as the other reviewer pointed out. Ill fitting and poorly designed, they are extremely low cut and while they say "coin pocket" that's rather silly, and they are cut to be rather snug and a coin pocket is rather useless. The fabric is very VERY thin, and the pants are rumpled looking rather than smooth. Worst of all, the legs balloon out strangely and the fabric doesn't lay properly. How I wanted to love these! I love this idea, and possibly will try in the future next year when LE gives it another try. Great idea, but going back. :(

Disappointed
I have been trying to find a nice pair of striped pants for several summers now. I ordered these according to the size chart, and I'm unhappy with the fit. I selected "Yes" above in the recommendation box, but I need to clarify. These pants are better suited to women who are not pear-shaped. I am a solid 20-22, and I ordered the 2x. They sit lower on the waist, so if you have a more generous middle, you run the risk of a muffin top. I prefer my pants to have a higher rise. Also, it seems that the thighs run a bit snug. That being said, I love the fabric content. It is the perfect weight for spring and summer. I also love the stripe. It is a great neutral that would go with practically any color solid top. If you have a straighter build and not much of a tummy area, then I would recommend at least trying these pants. I think with a slight redesign they could be better suited to the curvier plus size women out there.
