Figure flattering casual dress The shirred surplice bodice on this dress, with v-neck and 3/4 sleeves, is very flattering. It comes with a soft 1-1/2 inch (approx) scarf type belt of the same material, but it looked much better when I added a silver conch belt instead. The jersey material makes this very easy to wear as a casual dress, or you could play with accessories for a little dressier look. I felt the need to wear a half slip with the material because it seemed somewhat clingy, but it may have been our weather that day. Good length at the knee. April 13, 2013

Just. Odd. I had high hopes for this dress, despite the mixed reviews. I am 5'3", 165lbs, slightly pear-shaped, and short waisted. I ordered a size down as many suggested, and I liked the colour, drape, and texture of the material, but I guess the combination of the fullness of the top with the raglan sleeves, gathered surplice bodice and the high elastic waistline made me look blowsy and frumpy. Definitely not flattering on my figure, and I am envious of those who found it a good fit, especially at the sale price. Returning it. Sigh. April 5, 2013
Kept for nightgown/ robe I love all the other LE dresses I've bought, but this one is fairly unflattering, it's even evident in the picture. Waist is so high it sits right under boobs. The fabric is jersey-like, so I kept it for use as a robe or night-gown. I had washed it hoping it would reshape a bit, but no such luck. April 1, 2013

I liked this... I actually liked this much more than I expected to. The material is a little odd....sort of stiff/crunchy feeling, but then it actually does drape well once the dress is on. I found it very flattering on me - I'm 5'2" and plus-sized and it fit me extremely well. Also, the garnet color is gorgeous in person. March 1, 2013
a return, even at low price If only this dress looked as good as it does in the photo! The fabric is thin and underwhelming, and the cut is SUPER awkward. I bought an XS and S, and neither fit well. For me, the elastic waistband and the extra fabric under the arms made for a frumpy look. I really wanted this to work but, oy, it just wasn't fitting right. A return on both sizes. too bad...
