Wrinkles easily and hem rolls up
I am so disappointed in this skort for my daughter. It looked so nice in the picture, and I am used to a high Lands End quaility. Sadly, disappointed with this uniform skort. The hem rolls up and skort has to be ironed after every wash. It wrinkles easily. Only plus, are the shorts underneath are comfortable.

Better for younger, smaller women
Purchased size 12 in navy. Disappointed. I'm 5'8. The skort was quite large in the waist, looked boxy on, and was shorter in length than I usually wear. The waist line fit better around my hips, but then the shorts did not fit properly. I think it would look nice on someone petite or someone shorter. I recommend buying a size smaller than normal.

Looks sharp and put together while being very comfortable.
The slim waistline and flare from the pleats is very flattering. An organization I volunteer for requests that we wear khaki bottoms. I purchased this skirt to spice up this uniform requirement. It is cute and with the comfortable shorts underneath, I can still work in it. I might even hem it a little to make it more youthful and wear it all the time. However, the slightly above the knee length it comes in looks appropriate without being stuffy.

A very versatile item for the summer weather.
This skort is excellent overall, made of a lovely twill material with spandex and light-weight knit shorts underneath for modesty. It is very versatile as you can dress it up or down. I've worn it with a tee shirt and a wide belt and also with a nice linen shirt. The color (khaki) goes with just about everything. My only comment is that it runs a bit large (not a bad thing) but seemed larger than the gathered knit skort and the knit skort with buttons which I also purchased in the same size (size 4). Definitely a winner! I just wish you had in white and some soft pastels for summer. I live in southern Egypt (retired in Luxor) and navy blue is a bit dark with such intense heat and sun. Sits perfectly at the natural waist and very true to color representation online
It's a very clasic, perfectly pleated and clean look with the advatage of perfect shorts undernieth for my very tall and active pre-teen daughter. She can wear it to school or church.
