Lovely skirt, great fit and nice retro appeal. i wear mine with opaque tights and ballet flats and a black polo neck. its definitely short but fine with tights.

Cute skirt, Love it!
I ordered two of this skirt in different colors. I love the fit and cut. They are so cute and just perfect for Spring and Fall. The material is not too heavy and the length is good for me. I am 5'3". I am loving all the skirts I have purchased from Lands End. They wear well and look great

Too poofy
I really wanted to like this skirt. It fit perfect and was well constructed. However, it was too pleated and looked "poofy" so it was not flattering at all. It made me look really wide even as a size 8 petite. Had to return it. I was interested in the A-line skirt that looks similar but think it is too long and would look frumpy.

Great skirt! - but very short
This is one nice skirt. Great fabric and quality. However, as previous reviewers have pointed out, it is very, very, short. I give it 4 stars only because of how short it is (of course some may like how short it is!). Tights are an absolute must. Probably not the best idea to wear it in "conservative" settings. The threads in the Hunter/Classic Navy Plaid allow the skirt to pair nicely with many different colors. I really hope that LE makes this in a longer length someday soon. I think they would sell a bunch!

cute skirt
I got this for my 14 year old who likes to dress in all black. She looked adorable in the green/blue plaid skirt, black shirt and tights and her rocking black boots. It needed some ironing when it arrived, not difficult to iron. I'm prob. going to get her another color for Christmas now that I've gotten her to wear a skirt!

Fits small compared to Lands End Sizing
According to Lands End sizing, I need to buy small to medium sizes because their larges are huge! When I purchased this skirt in hunter /classic navy plaid, I ordered a 12. The 12 was so tight on me and made the skirt appear even shorter (which it is short to begin with). I tried again, and ordered the same style in the tan twill in a 14. It fits great and looks great. Now I have ordered the classic navy/evergreen plaid in a 14 which I should receive today. I love the style of the shorter pleated skirts. Every time I wear one, even random strangers come up to me to tell me how great I look. I highly recommend this style. If you are in between sizes, go with the larger size. That is my only regret. I love the hunter/classic navy plaid. It looks great with red. I hope I am able to replace it for a larger size some day.

LOVED THIS SKIRT!!!
I have looked everywhere for a plaid skirt and am amazed I had such a hard time finding one. I ordered a size 6, hips 39/waist 30, and it fit perfect. It was a little short for my age to be comfortable wearing w/out tights (as another reviewer stated) but I absolutely loved it! Too cute with a white long or short sleeve shirt as well. Kudos to you Lands End for having what I wanted, I just wish there were more color options available.

Good but a bit short.
I am 5'7" and bought this to wear to work - it's adorable but definitely on the short side- I am very hesitant to wear it without stockings - I think that would be too much and I doubt I'll wear it with heels. However, with stockings and boots, it looks great - very pretty colors - wish the material was a little nice but I like it.

Perfect length, youthful, shirts tuck well
Ordered this and the skort (reviewed also). Pleased a very picky teen who will have her first year in a uniform. She's 5'6 and the skirt is well below finger tip length but still short enough to be cute. Landsend Junior sized uniform oxfords looked terrible tucked, we had better luck with American Eagle Favorite Shirt oxfords in an XS. they have just enough stretch and tuck nicely. Overall, perfect uniform skirt for a teen.
