..not too crazy about this plaid ... except maybe if you want to look like a student...
I prefer the plain black, beige, navy and grey.... I wear them as regular skirts and since I do not iron, I love that the permanent pleats are now so relaxed and just soft, not rigid pleats....
The skirts I've ordered lately have gotten shorter in length, which is ideal for warmer weather wear... The former skirts I got few years ago, are quite longer and thus, just perfect to wear with boots even!
I buy these "uniform" skirts when marked down... therefore I have about a dozen of varied length, waist size, and colors..... The only regret I have over these skirts.... no pockets!

Great look and fit
This skirt fits just as I had hoped - fits smoothly over my hips and doesn't gape too much at my waist ( a perpetual problem for my figure). I took my measurements, compared them to the sizing chart, ordered a size 6 and am delighted with how well it fits. As one who sews a great deal, I appreciate how beautifully the plaid is matched at the seams.

Very nice skirt but my figure didn't do it justice
I liked everything about this skirt...the fabric, the construction, the colors and fun pleats but, alas, I no longer have the figure type at 5'3" and 140 lbs to do the skirt justice. I loved wearing this style when I was in my 20's, 30's and 40's but I feel the extra #s from 120 to 140 is why this style skirt does not flatter me as I would like. I would still recommend this skirt if you are slim in the waist and hip area.

Nice
I'm 5'7, bought the burgundy one, size 4. The waist is about 1 1/2 inc bigger, but it's fine, just the sewed in pleat was tight on the hip. Other than that, it is splendid. I received compliments every time I wore it. I wore it with ivory or grey turtleneck sweater. It's my winter staple. Planning to buy another one, so hard to decide, all colors are nice!

Disappearing pleats
This skirt was very attractive when I tried it on before washing. It fit well, and the pleats were great. However, when I washed it to get rid of the wrinkles, the wrinkles disappeared but so did the pleats. There is no way I am going to spend time ironing the pleats back in, so I will be returning it.

Cute skirt but not too school girlish
I have worn this skirt to work and gotten lots of compliments. It appears youthful but not too young to wear in a professional setting. I think it is a little longer than I would like, but I am short so on most people the length might be great.

Really Cute Skirt
I bought this skirt one size bigger than I wear in pants and it is a perfect fit :) My only complaint would be I wish it was a little bit shorter...just a tad. I'm glad I bought it.

Nice quality, but sizing is not true to size
I was excited to try this skirt after reading the reviews. I usually find when I order my regular size from LE that things are actually a tad on the generous side for sizing. Not so here, and it is due to the sewn pleats from the waistband down. The waist size is fine, but I absolutely no way can do the zipper up over my hips.
I am going to try re-ordering a size up, but will have to see if that makes the waist too big for me.
Otherwise, I really like the skirt-quality seems good and the plaid is lovely.

So pretty
I receive many compliments when I wear this. Hits right at the bottom of my knee (5'10") and the colors go well with many of the sweaters and turtlenecks available here. Will buy another soon
