Washable dress pants with an extra bit of ease.
- Easy-care blend is machine washable and fully lined
- Fabric has a hint of stretch for comfort
- Elastic inserts adds up to 2" of ease at the waist

The contour waistband has disguised side elastic inserts that extend a few inches. They're woven from a comfortable blend of 53% polyester/43% wool with 4% Lycra® spandex for just a touch of stretch. Suffer from a lunchtime spill? Just machine wash normal, tumble dry low. No need to dry clean! Imported.

I love these pants. Just regret they are not offered in more colors, i.e. brown and grey.

Not a substitute for previous dress pants with a traditional waistband
I thought these would be similar to the lined wool blend pants I bought a couple of years ago and loved (and wish now that I had also purchased in blue at the time), but they are not. The fit is odd.. not overall too big or too small, but almost right in the waist, too big in the hips and a bit too snug in the thighs (whereas the same size in the previous version fit just right). I also did not like the replacement of a traditional waistband with the "comfort" waist. I wish Lands End would bring back the old version. Some of us still need/want quality, well-fitting, classically styled (so they are not dated in a couple of years!), but affordable dress pants.

Waist is poorly designed for dress slacks.
Please bring back traditional dress pants with a waist and belt loops! I could have worn these pants if they would have had a waist and belt loops. Lands End has had wonderful timeless dress slacks in the past. Also, why do the pockets have holes in them? If you put keys or anything else in the pockets, a miss-hap would send the object to the ground. A size 2 with this waist design was much too big and no way to pin-up, belt or otherwise. Fabric, length, and manufacture was all very good and as described. As I had to return these slacks, I will continue to look for the traditional navy wool dress slacks.

Great workmanship
These pants are one of the nicest that I have every owned. The workmanship is perfect. I am six-feet tall with a 36 inch inseam and these pants fit me perfect. I'm going to send for the navy pair soon. Hope these don't go out of stock soon.

Excellent....
For years I have been looking for pleated front zip slacks and now I've found them. The fit was true to size. I first ordered too small and even though they had been hemmed for free I was able to return them to a Sears and they were returned at no cost to me. I reordered the proper size and they are excellent. I love the way they look, feel and laundry. I ordered the true navy and will soon if not now order the black. If they would do a brown and beige I would order them all. I can't say enough about the slacks and Land's End.
They are truly a customer friendly company.

Perfect.
Eases at the waist, falls neatly, only occasionally needs ironing. I wish they were shown in more colors. I have two pairs of black. I'm not very young anymore and it's so nice to find clothes that are comfortable and flattering.

I love these pants.
These pants are so great. They are comfortable and really look nice. They wash really great too.

Not the Quality I expected.
While this pair of pants fit true to size (which is a little big in comparison to store brands) I was glad I bought it on sale. I really didn't think the feel and look was worthy of the price. It almost looks like polyester fabric. I purchased the ones with the pleat in the front and should of bought the plain front. The pleats pucker out so unless you have a really flat stomach stay with the plain front. The fabric quality was the biggest disappointment, let's have something better. I kept the pants but they won't be my favorite.
