Perfect for pear-shapes
These pants fit like a dream, I am quite pear shaped on the lower half so need the pleats and love having pockets. Other pleated pants without the belt loops create big gaps in back for me as my waist is "normal" and they tend to slid around my middle, this classic style seems more professional and finished and stays put. I have been wearing this Land's End style for years, I wish these still came in black and/or dark grey to replace older pairs I have. I searched online for something of similar quality in black and/or grey and could not find them in my size. I wear these to my office job with blazers or professional sweaters. I did try the other pleated pants style without the belt loops and returned them as this style was much more comfortable and a better fit. Please add plus sizes in other colors...

Just What I Have Been Looking For - Excellent
These are perfect. Need more colors however, as I would buy a couple more pair. Love the fabric and fit. I want pleats no matter what the younger set wants, I want pleats on my dress pants. These sit at the waist perfectly as well. I'm tall and the regulars fit fine with my specified length.

Very Nice Quality Pants
I received my pants yesterday and I really love the pants. The gabardine wool is a very nice quality, it reminds me of a man's worsted wool fabric used for their suits. I like that the pants sit at your natural waist, no elastic, and are lined. I also like that the spandex is a very low percentage (2%). It is almost impossible to find wool pants and wool lined pants these days. Just because a person is over 50 it doesn't mean people wants elastic waist, spandex, and no lined pants. What we are looking for is a good quality pants - quality in fabric, quality craftmanship in sewing, and a quality fit. I like that Land's End lets you can select your inseam's length. Land's End should make these pants in more colors, ie., black, white, brown, and any other color. Also make these pants in 100% gabardine wool. Please make your chino pants like this - sit at your natural waist, no spandex, and no elastic.
