Why the really bad reviews??
The colour, fit and quality is great for this robe. Only problem I can see is that I had to first wash it three times to get rid of the fluff which was dropping all over the carpet. I'm hoping that doesn't continue but I'm happy with the item.

Is This Really A Lands' End Product?!!
I took it out of the bag...it was covered in pulled threads and you could see right through it!! There is NO, ABSOLUTELY NO softness to this bathrobe. (The only positive was that it fit...worth one star, I guess.) I put it back in the bag and returned it. What a disappointment. I have Supima Towels from LE which I bought in the 1990s and am still using, so I expected this robe to be of the same quality. It isn't. Don't waste your time and money.

Not what I expected from Landsend.
It snags very easily, long threads hanging and pill's everywhere. The fabric is still rough, --not what I was hoping for. This was a major disappointment especially for the price. I'm strongly thinking about returning it. My washer was so full of lint afterwards that I had to run it empty to clear it. My dryer's screen had to be cleared several times before the robe was fully dry.

Snags too easily...on nothing!!!
I love the fit and weight/warmth of this robe but the terry loops snag on everything. I have had it for 2 months and it looks terrible. My old robe was 20 years old and had not one snag on it. I had to buy a new one because it had too many stains but this one just isn't up the LE quality.

Love this thick comfy robe!
I LOVE this robe! Not quite sure how it got poor ratings from others. My daughter and I both have the petite sizes in small. One in gray and the other in lavender. They are thick and absorbent like high end hotel robes! Great for right out of the shower. They are also very warm for cold mornings. The shape is very fattering and feminine. Liked my daughter's robe so much, I ordered myself one as well.

Love the Long Length
Land's End is the only place where I could find a full length terry cloth robe. Yes, the quality of the material is not up to LE standards and the loops snag too easily. But, if you want a roomy, warm and long robe to wear after taking a shower or bath during winter, this robe does the job. The sale price and free shipping sealed the deal.

Rough fabric, poor quality
The quality of this robe is not Lands' End quality. The coats and boots I bought were absolutely wonderful. I expected this robe to be at least adequate but it was not. The fabric is very rough to the touch. It is not like a terry cloth towel you would use on your body. This is very harsh fabric to the touch. The English Lavender looks pretty online but in reality it is a grayed down pale lavender and it is not attractive. The terry used on the collar is one direction on one side and the edging is the opposite direction so on one side it looks like a defect. The terry loops were already pulling out and looking messy and I just took it out of the box. When another person said the robe looks "old" and washed out and you didn't even wear it yet it echoed my sentiments exactly. This robe's fabric is so rough, so cheap, and so washed out looking that it looks like it was from a garage sale. I am surprised that Lands' End would sell such an inferior product after having been thrilled with all three outer ware garments. Once the stores open after Hurricane Sandy I will return it. It looks like it went through a hurricane and it is brand new. This has to be the worst robe quality I have encountered for the reasons stated above. The only redeeming quality I can say about it is that the length is longer than most robes and the sleeves are long enough.

Way too roomy!
Not at all flattering. This terry robe is way to roomy and very heavy..the belt sits on my hips...med. petite. The 1st one came with large fabric flaw on left lower opening...even a petite small... big cuffs... heavy fabric... easily pulled and looks used...

Warm winter robe
I like that a full length robe actually comes in petite; however, it does run really large. The belt loops actually fall at the hip line more like a non-petite robe would. The sleeves are really long too, but the floor length is perfect. This robe is great to wear on a cold winter day. The terry material does snag easily and it catches lint. Overall though, it was priced well since it was on sale.

Warm and cosy but threads catch
I was given this robe for a present and it is quite warm, fits well, but as soon as the loops touch anything, they catch, pull and tear.
This happens especially in the belt and cuff area. It looks unsightly and detracts from the look.
I'm buying again, just because the price is good at present and I love this type of robe.
